“When I'm in the area I go out of my way to use this gas station. The staff are always friendly and they have very nice clean bathrooms. Just a friendly hometown convenience store and I appreciate how well maintained they keep it.”
“Great store with a wide selection and a clean, organized layout. The staff was friendly and helpful when answering questions and recommending options. Prices were reasonable, and checkout was quick. Definitely a convenient place to stop if you’re looking for good variety and good service.”
“This store has an amazing selection of drinks, from premium bottles to everyday favorites. The prices are very reasonable compared to other places, and the staff is always friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The store is clean, organized, and easy to shop in. I also love how they constantly keep good items in stock and offer great deals. Definitely one of the best liquor stores around — highly recommend!””

“My biggest problem is the woman working the register. She is not friendly at all. I have been shopping there for a year and a half, and never felt that way before with the others who worked behind the counter.”
“Much cleaner on the inside than the field that you get from looking at it from the outside. Not sure if that makes sense but it's very clean and organized inside but I do think it could use a facelift outside the building.”

“Best price for diesel in the area. I drive out of my way to fuel up here just so I'm not putting money into a thieves pocket for the convenience. I hate spending $120-130 to fill up once or twice a week, but this place is definitely cheaper than 14&176, 120&Chappell Hill, and Casey's.I'll delete this post if they jump on that bandwagon.Went here again today, and it's 20 cents cheaper a gallon.”
“I’ve been coming to the same corner store for 28 years. Always greeted with a friendly hello and smile. Very convenient and affordable. A well run establishment with fair prices.”
“Friendly little convenience store with a gambling parlor inside. Good liquor selection and reasonable prices. Good spot to stop at for a quick pack of smokes, necessities or a cold 6 pack or case of beer. Nice staff that takes the time to get to know thier customers.”
“You can't ask more from a convenience. Food and liquor store. Their hours, which I don't even know exactly, are just open when you need them!
Their staff which I'm assuming are probably the owners or family, etc are always kind, considerate and conversational.
I enjoy interacting with the people that I happen to see throughout the day and there's nothing worse than somebody just looks down and hands you your change or whatever.
The family food Mart team are always up for a good laugh or at least a warm welcome and a thank you.”
“I came to the Meijer’s Gas Station in McHenry on Sunday, April 26, 2026 after a botched experience elsewhere. This was the only other gas station around that day that stood at less than $4/gallon. It was $3.93 a gallon to fill up. It was very quick and easy to do. It was after 9pm so I went and then out within 5 minutes and I was home within another 10. (Written 5-27-26)”
“Nedzas is part of my childhood memories. 50 years ago my mom would send me walking there for a pack of her Salem cigarettes. Of course those days have passed and it remains a great place in the neighborhood for beer etc.”
“I love coming here during hard bike rides on the prairie path. If I forgot to bring enough water or snacks, I know I'm covered. Very reasonable prices and friendly staff”
“Love this place i am working west dundee and i leave in Woodstock from born i never been this tore and my friend Ron from sleepy hollow recommended me to go this store his family owned this store so i visited good selection of whiskey ? Thank you ?”
“It's usually a pretty quick in and out to pay at the pump. The pumps themselves can be a little sensitive, and get back out onto Rte 31 is sometimes challenging, but this station frequently has better prices for gas than most.”

“I have been stopping in and grabbing things from here every once in a while, I've only had great experiences! Both of the people I've seen working here have been kind and professional, the one who is there constantly is always smiling and very friendly. Definitely recommend, even for a quick stop!”

“This has become my go-to stop on the way to the gym. Good selection of drinks and protein bars. Fairly reasonable prices, too. Gas prices are what they are, but this place usually falls in line with surrounding gas station prices. No complaints here.”
“New and it shows! Needs an in/out sign on Rt 120, it's actually beyond the truck plaza. On Chapel Hill turn in right behind the Riverside Chocolate Factory (which see! 😋)”

“The staff here is super friendly and they know all of their “regulars”! I’m not a “regular” but I could see the way the cashiers interacted with their customers and it’s a special bond. We had a quick visit on Saturday, April 19, 2025 but super pleasant. I won’t forget my visit in 2024 when they made a pizza slice for me in just TWO MINUTES. Very impressive! (Written 4-26-25)”
“Great staff
They are often understaffed and working twice as hard to get things done, so let’s give them some grace. I’ve never had rude service here in 20 years I’ve shopped there.”

“Some of the employees can be a little impersonal but I have thick skin so its no big deal to me. What I care more about is the quality of the product since thats where my money is going. Pump filters are always clean and the gas flows strong. I use their car wash a lot and its worth every penny. I could care less if an employee doesn't say hi or bye, I'm not entitled like that.”

“15Nov2025 Updated a review. Kelly & Debbie always give us redo car washes when the machine doesn't reset & shut down during the dry cycle.
: Touch less Unlimited Ultimate Car Washes. The first to sign up! Mike was so kind to walk us through the new process. You put a sticker on our window and boom, DONE.
Mike made this process very personal by actually walking with us outside the carwash to teach us the process.
Highly recommend without reservation”

“I went there for some last minute shopping to pick up some necessities. I was helped by a very personable lady named Sue, who went out of her way to show me where products we're and even tell me a little bit about them. Her professionalism and her demeanor was greatly appreciated.”
