“When I'm in the area I go out of my way to use this gas station. The staff are always friendly and they have very nice clean bathrooms. Just a friendly hometown convenience store and I appreciate how well maintained they keep it.”

“Best price for diesel in the area. I drive out of my way to fuel up here just so I'm not putting money into a thieves pocket for the convenience. I hate spending $120-130 to fill up once or twice a week, but this place is definitely cheaper than 14&176, 120&Chappell Hill, and Casey's.I'll delete this post if they jump on that bandwagon.Went here again today, and it's 20 cents cheaper a gallon.”

“My biggest problem is the woman working the register. She is not friendly at all. I have been shopping there for a year and a half, and never felt that way before with the others who worked behind the counter.”

“I have been stopping in and grabbing things from here every once in a while, I've only had great experiences! “It's usually a pretty quick in and out to pay at the pump. The pumps themselves can be a little sensitive, and get back out onto Rte 31 is sometimes challenging, but this station frequently has better prices for gas than most.”
“You can't ask more from a convenience. Food and liquor store. Their hours, which I don't even know exactly, are just open when you need them!
Their staff which I'm assuming are probably the owners or family, etc are always kind, considerate and conversational.
I enjoy interacting with the people that I happen to see throughout the day and there's nothing worse than somebody just looks down and hands you your change or whatever.
The family food Mart team are always up for a good laugh or at least a warm welcome and a thank you.”

“Updated review 10Jan2026 Dan was very professional and went above and beyond to assist with fuel discounts. He was extremely patient with refunding my Celsius after I realized the promotion for the fuel discount ended. The Most memorable and impressive moments I have of this location, are the accommodations of specific employee's going the extra mile to give cash refunds if the system has issues. Finally, the friendliness of returning employees farewelling and greeting children is extremely heartwarming & refreshing.
9Sep2025 Phil was very understanding over the phone with reward discount of $0.20 Per Gallon. We spoke about limitations and he offered to go over it together in-person to ensure I got the best deal.

“My experience with this Walgreen’s is always pretty nice. My two most recent visits were Wednesday, March 5th and Thursday, March 6th, 2025. It’s conveniently located right down the street from my house and has Trident gum, the only place I can seem to find them around Crystal Lake. I use it to pick up prescription medication and I love the drive thru option on a cold day. I’d definitely recommend this store. I also was able to grab some amazing birthday cards for some family members here. Only thing missing is the green walls, LOL.”

“The staff here is super friendly and they know all of their “regulars”! I’m not a “regular” but I could see the way the cashiers interacted with their customers and it’s a special bond. “Some of the employees can be a little impersonal but I have thick skin so its no big deal to me. What I care more about is the quality of the product since thats where my money is going. Pump filters are always clean and the gas flows strong. I use their car wash a lot and its worth every penny. I could care less if an employee doesn't say hi or bye, I'm not entitled like that.”

Mike made this process very personal by actually walking with us outside the carwash to teach us the process.
