“I had a smaller project, my powder room, and needed wallpaper and installation with a really quick turnaround. I called Southtown Paint & Interiors and spoke with Casey who was absolutely amazing! I shared with him what I was looking for and the time frame for completion, he came through and then some, including hand delivering beautiful wallpaper samples in the middle of frigid weather. Through each step in the process Casey was responsive, thoughtful and accommodating. The wallpaper was installed beautifully and our installer, Alberto, was tidy, courteous and masterful at his craft! The powder room looks amazing…we will be repeat customers :-) All of that said, I highly recommend Southtown Paint & Interiors for your design needs, you won’t be sorry.”

“If you are looking for a suburban paint store, look no further than JC Licht in Hinsdale. After raising my children these last 15-20 years, my home was in definite need of being refreshed, from top to bottom, with a new paint job. I have been working with the amazing folks at JC Licht through out this whole process in order to ensure that I get the correct paint I need, not only the quantity of paint, but also in the right sheen or color. The patience of the folks that work at JC Licht to ensure that I am completely satisfied is beyond impressive. As a mom and wife who is trying to juggle all the various rooms being painted correctly and on time, when my painter has time to visit my home, JC Licht has been an integral part of ensuring that my job is getting done not only right, but exceeding my expectations. “My wife had picked out a paint that was made by Sherwin Williams, so I went to their store first. Their people were cordial, but not great and they only sold samples in quart size or larger. I then went to your store in Naperville. I was instantly greeted by "hello, we will be right with you." Then I worked with Leslie who was great. The next day, I needed to come back and again was greeted warmly. This time I was helped by Jan, who like Leslie from the day before was extremely helpful. I was able to get the samples in sample size container, mixed exactly as I needed by Andy. My total experience, both days was fabulous. Needless to say, I will continue to make my purchases and have my painter make theirs from J C Licht. You are the BEST!Jack Ehlert”

The associate was willing and able to help me even though she was probably ready to walk out the door. (I did offer to come back the next day but she said it was no problem). I very much appreciated not having to make an additional trip!”

“I drive to this store even though there are 2 stores closer to my home just because of the Assistant Manager, Caitlin Nagle. I went into the store before going into Trader Joes just to look at some colors. Caitlin was so warm and welcoming when I walked in. She asked if I needed help with anything and I said I was just starting to look at colors for my first floor. I had a few in mind but was overwhelmed with all the similar whites. She was so calming and kind. She took her time to help me, give me some tips and advice, and told me to come in anytime for help! I came back again just because I felt less overwhelmed and frustrated with pictures of the rooms I wanted to repaint and we went over everything. She helped me so much! When it came time to purchase the paint and supplies, my husband had mentioned going to a closer store and I told him I wanted to make sure we went back to Caitlin and the Naperville store and they were beyond helpful! I hope this store knows how amazing she is and she is the reason I will return to this store and recommend it to all my friends and family! The other employees were also very kind and helpful. This store is really great and I believe the people make the store how awesome that it is! Thanks so much!!”

“I bought tinted paint for my garage door. I asked Pedro if I could return the paint if I bought more of it just to be sure i have enough for the job and didnt have to go back for more if i fell short. He assured me that I can bring them back for a refund if i didnt use them. So I purchased 3 gallons instead of 2 gallons. I only used one gallon and went back to return 2 gallons. The Assistant Manager who was in the store at that time tells me tinted paint cannot be returned and Pedro is out of town and is not reachable. I had to eat the $90 extra cost. If I was told of the policy before, I would have maybe bought less and came back to buy more in case I fell short. Always ask for an email confirmation.Update: I had to change my review to a 4 star, just for the professional way this was handled by them. I promptly received a call from the Owner who listened to my case and acted promptly to rectify this.”
“Not a big reviewer, but I definitely wanted to give a shout-out to Alan Alvarado, who went above and beyond helping me pick out colors for my entire house. He has a great eye for color, so much so that I thought maybe his background was in interior design. He was so patient as I considered the nuances between shades, and overall, his interest in helping me felt very genuine and down-to-earth. I'm not new to Sherwin-Williams by any means, and I knew that his recommendations for product were rock-solid. Thanks, Alan!”
