“The GM knew EVERYTHING, I hadn't had a pair of 5.11 shorts in 8 or 10 years, so when I saw 4 different models, I didn't know where to start. He pulled all of them off the rack, showed me the differences, and made me feel at home, I came within 15 minutes of closing in a mad dash, but he took the time to systematically explain everything to me so I could make it an informed decision.
I came back a couple days later, to make an online return and was greeted by a gentleman from Jersey, who was equally knowledgeable, and also made me feel right at home.
These two gentlemen made a lasting impression on me and I will be back!

“A Catholic gentleman named John assisted us right away when we walked in. His manner of speech and quality of service made the impression on me that this is what customer service ought to be. The quality of the product was unmatched. He gave me important tips for dress and maintaining the shoe. I’ll certainly go back when I need important shoes, because I will remember the experience as “The Perfect Shoe Store.”
(I mention “Catholic” because when I walked in, he asked what I was wearing it for, and I told him it was for the Latin Mass. He then told me he was Catholic and we talked about it. That’s a part of customer service I think is forgotten: being genuine and charismatic.)”
“Absolutely FABULOUS store - a true GEM in downtown Naperville. Ginger and her staff are just FANTASTIC - SO helpful and knowledgeable; the kind of attentive customer service you simply don't find anymore. My wife and I spent an hour plus there today, and Ginger came up with SO many great suggestions for outfits - things my wife tried on that she never would have, that ended up looking INCREDIBLE. And the prices are GREAT! Truly unique stuff as well - not the generic and boring mass-produced stuff you'll find at the bigger national-chain boutiques in town. “I have always had a difficult time finding bras in particular. I have some sensory sensitivity and bras are the most difficult. My trusty target bra crapped out on me and I went in to soma for a fitting and hopefully to find my new everyday bra. The associates were super sweet even with it being extremely busy when I came in Anallely did my fitting and was very helpful pulling options for me. I was lucky I found a bra I liked in my sister size that works so great. Have seen some reviews on quality not being great so I’ll update as they get more wear but really excited to find a new regular bra!”

My wife, Pat, went to make a purchase at L.L. Bean this morning but had to park a block away because you are now charging for what used to be free parking
She texted 3 photos of the nearly empty parking lot adjacent to where she wanted to shop.
I believe you are doing your tenants a disservice.
The majority of the public will be changing their shopping habits and go elsewhere to make their purchases.
That is why we do not shop in downtown Chicago or anywhere is Chicago where they charge for street parking
Locksmiths, dry cleaners, small restaurants, novelty shops etc on Chicago streets have suffered financial loss because their customers will not pay for parking and end up shoping elsewhere
More and more people are shopping on line and charging for parking at shopping centers makes this option even more convenient and affordable
2nd Message to Oakbrook Management:
My wife did park elsewhere and walk to L.L. Bean to make a return. She said the sales staff were very unhappy about the charge for parking, the parking lot was almost vacant and they had very few customers.
My wife told them that in the future she will order on line.
After shopping she would normally have lunch with her friends at one of your restaurants but because of the parking issue decided to go elsewhere for lunch”
“My daughter had a ruptured blood vessel in her brain six years ago that left her with very limited short term memory. This has really affected her life, especially making decisions, and I am always looking for ways to just lift her up. So a few days ago we got in the car and I said, “Angel, let’s go to Wheaton and find a store and buy you some clothes.” So off we went, and we parked, and there across the street was Jeans and a Cute Top! Oh my goodness, what a wonderful time we had. Jill was fabulous! We figured out that Angel looks best in winter colors - bold and bright. Jill searched her whole store and just brought everything that she thought would suit Angel. We left with three pairs of jeans and numerous tops and honestly, Angel looked like $1 million, which was exactly my intention when we walked in. Jill was so unbelievably helpful. We could never have made those decisions without her help. I just highly recommend this store and we’ll be back in March next year! I don’t see how you can go wrong shopping here. It is so full of beautiful things to wear.”

“Nicole was so awesome and helpful! I’m unfortunately extremely petite and have a very difficult time finding clothes that fit me, but Loft actually carries a lot of clothes in petite sizing. Bought several tops and a few pairs of pants because I need salon appropriate attire. Nicole was super sweet and found me so many options. I only wish the measurements on the pants were a little more accurate because I get my clothes custom made a lot, so I know my measurements but sadly Loft’s measurements are a little off. They sadly didn’t carry a 23 inch waist (I’m a 24) so if you know your waist measurements maybe go down one inch. I felt like the tops were pretty true to size though and very flattering on me.”

“First let me say when I visit Chicago I make it my business to visit Norstrom Rack because I can always find the perfect pair of shoes or purse etc... Anyhow I visited on 9/11 purchased a watched as I was leaving the store the alarm went off I was not stopped I went back to the service desk and asked them to check my bag for sensors. They did and when I got home my husband bought my bag inside and I couldn't find my watch I purchased. My husband said nothing else was in the suv. So I went back to the store the next day and told them my watch was missing from my bag. The sale lady was professional the store review the security footage and said the watch was put back in the bag and maybe check my car. The manager was nice and said there was nothing they could do and someone will give me a call next week. When I got to my suv I double checked the car moved my grandson stroller and true enough there was my watch. I was excited it was there. I did go back inside the store and apologize to the sale lady and ask her to let the manager know the watch was in my car. I don't want anyone to think I was trying to get a free watch or anything else. But I could tell the team thought I was trying to get something free. But that not me. God has blessed me to be able to shop and pay for whatever I want or need. Next visit to Chicago I'll see you Norstrom Oakbrook Il.”
“We have been shopping at Murray's since they were in the Oak Brook mall! I think they have been in this new location for at least 16 years or more! We go there at least once or twice a year (usually Christmas and St Patrick's Day) to buy something beautiful and support this fantastic business! I have never been disappointed with any our our purchases! Just wish I could buy more as everything is so nice! Have so many beautiful Irish crosses and my St Brigid's cross has hung on my wall for over 17 years! The owners are very nice and helpful if you are looking for a gift for someone special!”
