L.L. Bean is a great big outdoorsy store. It has excellent quality merchandise and helpful clerks. The store is large, clean, and well organized, with a wide range of outdoor gear, including camping and fishing items. Prices are a bit high, but the quality is worth it. Sale items start from $50. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful, making for a great shopping experience. Parking is free and the store carries extended sizes.
We were traveling from Chicago to Iowa, and since my wife loves L.L.Bean, we had to stop at this store. There’s a great selection, and it feels like flipping through a catalog.

Staff were super helpful! I was traveling and forgot a bathing suit for the hotel pool, and the staff at this location when on a hunt in the back room to pull out all the swim trunks they had in my size for me to choose from - on Black Friday no less! Above and beyond service.
