I feel lucky to live close to this post office. We are thinking about moving and one of the things that bothers me most is that we won't be as close to this post office anymore.”

“I went to Homewood with a 2pm appointment Monday for a Passport, and it was a mess. Rescheduled for the next day at Hazel Crest.These 2 ladies, Andrea was one, I didn’t catch the other, but both were very pleasant, very kind, helpful, and just all around made the whole experience amazing and efficient. “I have been coming here for the last 10 years that I lived in this area and never had an unpleasant experience. I went in today after looking at the hours and then seeing these bad reviews, so I had to leave this now. I was in there alone, I stood aside because I had to fill in some information that the attendant was so nice to show me for sending certified mail. Mind you there were 30 minutes left til close. And then SIX people walk in, and she kicks in to high gear all the while maintaining her pleasantness. When she sees I was done she lets me come back up and finish my transaction. Her name was LEASES (I hope I spelled her name correctly) and she was so pleasant and so speedy (the lady behind me also complimented her), and a perfect employee to have had instructed me WHILE attending to six other people (which of course always happens right before close). Polite to everyone while I filled my paperwork, and remained polite to me with all my questions. Thank you!”

“I find the staff helpful. I love how they decorate for the holidays, even ones that I don't celebrate. Now I rarely have issues with the packages I mail out. There were some problems mailing out packages during the beginning and height of the pandemic, but no more delivery problems now. I trust this post office. Regarding the frequent uncleanliness, I spoke to the P.O. manager. They share a custodian with at least 1 other post office. So that is the reason that it often looks messy. I even offered to vacuum for them, but they didn't have a working vacuum cleaner. These are hard times for businesses, please remember, it takes a village.”

“This was my first time here and yes it was very busy time and I was getting very frustrated that there was only one person working at the counter so I decided to use the self check out. With my luck my receipt printed but my postage did not. Back to the line I went, the kind gentleman let me back into where I was previously and the staff was very polite and helpful to address my concerns quickly. Despite tensions being high and grumpy patrons they were able to make everything correct within a short amount of time. Cindy, Kenneth & the African American lady with the braces and bangs (didn’t catch her name) where absolutely nothing short of superb.”

“This is my favorite post office, Tiffany & David are the best & have gone over & beyond since I began mailing my packages from here in 2020. I sell & ship rare plants & they've always gotten to their destination when I mail from this post office. I've had issues at other locations but this one has consistently followed through & been super nice. I'll always come here & am grateful for them!”

“The lady supervisor with short haircut at the window has excellent customer service skills. She goes out her way to accommodate with lost packages or mail that is not in my box. I forgot to mention that I receive my mail in my PO box. The lines are short these days. I can truly say she try her best to run this place in a professional and upbeat way. Our communities need leaders of integrity, patience, and understanding like her.”
“I had by far the best experience here today! I wish I knew the person behind the counters name so that I could personally shout her out here. I walked in around 2:00 pm today and right away I received a phone call. I stepped out of line to take my call, and watched as the line grew longer and the place get pretty busy as a result of the holiday. I also noticed how professional the worker behind the counter was. Although busy, she was calm and relaxed, patient and helpful to every customer and still worked quickly and efficiently. When I finally went into the line, it moved quick, and when I got there I had questions. She was helpful, kind and efficient. I never felt like I was being rushed, even though there were people behind me and when I asked my questions, she was more than helpful. A great person to have as the face of the branch! Employees everywhere could learn from her.”

“This is my new local post office and I avoided it the first few weeks because of the awful reviews. Once I finally went I really had no trouble. Not really any lines and Precious is always very nice as well as everyone else here. Never anIssue anytime of day. I had a package mishap only once when a different worker didn’t tell me the address wasn’t coming up for where I was sending it to-so it was returned to me and I had to pay shipping for it twice. Other than that 5 stars and im in here 2-3 times a week at different times during the day.Update like a year later : I wish I could leave another separate review as they really are always so nice here and it’s too bad the old reviews keep the overall reviews of this post office so low. Had a prepaid return but not a box for it (couldn’t use the free priority boxes) was about to buy one when a worker gave me a free box from the back.”

“This business is located on 46 and bishop in a small strip mall between a nail shop and a Chinese restaurant. The other 2 reviews are another location not this one. Every time I come there is no line, and the workers are helpful. This is the only location I would ever have a p o box at because it's always empty never more than 1 or 2 people in line. Best location to use because you're in and out.”
