“I was at another Five Below in Plainfield and found a few pieces of the decorations I was looking for, but I needed a few more. I called the Avon store, and associate Liberty who answered was so nice and helpful. She set them aside for me while I drove to the location She checked for me, told me they had a few, and even had them ready when I arrived. Jamarrah another associate greeted me with a big smile when I walked in, very personable as well, Javier grabbed them from the back for me, very pleasant as well. I really appreciated everyone taking the time to help. Great customer service at this location.”

“The store has so many things packed into it - seasonal decor, beauty products, food, office supplies. And the prices are great. The employees were very attentive.”

“Google is always asking me if a place is wheelchair accessible or wheelchair friendly. Most places are not because the doors have to be pulled open by hand and a person in a wheelchair would have a really hard time getting in your doors by themselves. There is no way that a person in a wheelchair could safely move through any 5 below store. As the aisles are always packed with boxes of items waiting to be stocked on the shelves. Prices of merchandise are not clearly marked, this is a real pain in the butt. However, I was told that you could download the app and then do price checks yourself.”

“Awesome 👌 It's my first time shopping at (Five Below) and I find it very reasonable. It reminds me of Goodwill but better because the items that they sell is not just reasonable they appears to be actually new.”

“I really enjoy browsing through here whenever I want to find some fun little treasures without breaking the bank. There is always such a wide variety of cool gadgets and snacks to look at, and I almost always end up walking out with more than I planned on buying. It is a great spot to kill some time and find affordable gifts, even if the store can get a bit crowded sometimes.”
Dollar General opened its 20,000th U.S. store on February 24th in Alice, Texas. It’s a major milestone for the discount chain that started as one small general store back in 1955. Starting with a ribbon cutting ceremony, the grand opening celebration began at 9am. First customers received some freebies - tote bags filled with free product samples and snacks from DG's Clover Valley brand.
