Good for the money and preferable location. Housekeeping is the worst service you could imagine. Only by the request, housekeeping service would be provided. Among the 4 days I got the service, I experienced horrible 3-day cleaning below expectation by any standard. No bed cleaning, dislocated trash bins in the room with such a careless personnel. The worst was the toilet. All the sanitary items and the other trashes in the bin were thrown at a toilet on purpose. This hotel must scrutinize their sanitary principles and education systems.

Cute boutique hotel with comfortable rooms, perfect location for IU families. Housekeeping is available based on request. No beverages (water bottles) are provided in the hotel room. Suggest taking refillable water bottles as multiple water stations are available in the union and throughout the campus.

Overall the rooms are clean and comfortable. We were disappointed however in our stay. We requested housekeeping which was not provided. Also the Furnishings in the rooms are quite dated and some of the rooms are very small. There are better options for hotels in Bloomington

Great hotel and venue. Very comfortable rooms. The young lady was solo at the front desk and we give her credit for a very friendly and diligent effort.

possibly the best deal in Bloomington during the summer, especially if you book on Hotels.com ($97-$107)
Nice, but definitely small rooms, Starbucks is your breakfast option.
biggest complaint is the one working antiquated elevator, which isn’t fully working. I’ve stayed here off and on for two weeks and depending on which floor you’re on some or all of the lights (including the buttons you push to go up or down.) don’t work such that you don’t know if the elevator is coming or not. so you see many people taking the stairs.
insider tip: go all the way down the hall there is a back elevator by an ice and Coke machine

Beware of this hotel.
The housekeeping (cleaning) is by request so after 3 nights I requested it; however the cleaning was not conducted. And unfortunately the dust was there on my day of arrival on the lamp and the coffee machine.
Even after the cleaning was done on the next day the carpet and the table remained dirty - it was obvious they were not even touched.
There are some other issues with the service, for example during the 5 nights I stayed here the staff never greeted me, when I went by, I mean they don't even look but continue being on their phone or looking aside. There are some other things to add about the room but they are not critical, like the window are not possible to open - which is probably fine as I know it's a practice for some hotels.
PS Just talked to my colleague who stayed at this hotel with me and she said it was exactly the same thing for her : the cleaning she had requested was ignored. She asked for it the day the before I did, meaning they ignore requests on a regular basis. Also, she has allergy on dust and she could also detect the dust in her room, the way I did. That's sad.

The location is ideal. At first glance the rooms appear to be very clean and well maintained, however they do have bed bugs. Had to leave abruptly in the early morning when it was noticed. The man at the front desk was so understanding and kind. He sincerely apologized for the experience and issued a refund immediately.

Paid good money to stay here and paid extra or parking. When we arrived the parking lot was full.so we had to park a mile away and pay again. So we paid to park at the hotel and couldn't park there. We will not stay here again.

Location, location, location! Room is serviceable but we had a broken thermostat and had to move. Next room was smaller and the shower knob slipped from warm to scalding unless you kept your hand on it. Rooms are clean, TVs are old, with basic channels, and wifi is dependent on your location in the building. The location is excellent if you are there for IU activities.

This is a very nice hotel. The single room was a bit small compared to what's built today but I liked it and thought it had a cozy feel. The staff were super friendly. And the IU campus is really gorgeous. It was nice to be able to walk around and see the beautiful buildings and landscape. The hotel is also in walking distance to a lot of restaurants.
One downside: It was easy to hear people just walking through the hallways but I had ear plugs so didn't mind.

Staff is great; rooms are good; location is near the center of the IU campus. Parking is a nightmare -- plan to park elsewhere and hoof it back to the hotel. We were told the adjacent pay lot parking (which is automatically added to the bill) would open up in the evening, but that did not happen on a weeknight.
Aside from the parking, the experience is great!

Awesome hotel, Not only is it full of IU history and decor, but it's also a very comfortable hotel in a very convenient location for accessing anywhere at the university.
