“Beautiful store arranged so neatly. Store is very small but holds so much! Staff was very accommodating when I told them it was my daughter's birthday & her gift was a 1 minute shopping spree in their store. They found a shopping basket for her to fill & a complimentary bag to carry her new books home in. Will be stopping here on a regular basis, it's so nice to find independent book stores.”
“This place is fantastic. I love it. The staff is majority friendly. There was one lady behind the counter that seemed a little grouchy with me specifically but people have bad days so it was probably nothin. The prices are very reasonable. The only thing is that they don't have a good action figure / collectables selection. Great comic store tho. It's awesome”
“Super cool! There were tons of books for all kinds of niches. I think anyone could find a book for themselves here. They had classic books, historical relics, and good bargains!”
“This is seriously the best bookstore in Bloomington. Nearly new books for amazing used prices! Charming staff! All sales benefit the Monroe County Public Library.”
“Love this bookstore! Great selection of items, wide snack selection, textbooks aren’t available to look at in person, but you easily order them online according to your class schedule, and there’s a general reading section with good picks! Excellent service from friendly staff who are eager to help!”
“I have used Xlibris to independently publish twice -- both have been incredibly positive experiences. They design the interior and cover, post on all book retailers and then track your sales. The physical books are of very good quality. I have also been very impressed with their team. Professional, responsive staff who help you through the process. There is a ton of competition for publishing books out there, so sadly the majority of writers will not get picked up by agents or publishers. Xlibris provides a viable alternative for those who want their words to see the day of light!”
“Great prices, great selection, helpful staff. Its clean and well organized. They have amazing sales. Items are between $1-$4 avg w a few items slightly higher but worth every penny. Go ahead and grab a cart, when u see all they have- you will be glad you did. These are the books I bought my last visit alone, all for $30. Yup, that's a lot of books! AND they have mystery book boxes for $10-28 with 25-45 books per box (variety will vary per box), they even have board games and so much more. Go have fun! If you can't tell, Half Price is my happy place!”
