I’ve worked as a professional mechanic and have many tool truck tools in my tool chest so I really had to get over my tool truck snobbery to buy here. I’ve seen new guys buy these because they’re cheap, and I’ve seen a lot of broken tools but harbor freight does honor their warranties and their stores are everywhere. I have an expensive Matco flex head ratchet that I can’t get fixed because I can’t find a Matco truck to do it. So I bought a replacement at HF at 1/4 the price that’s almost as good. I still prefer my Matco but I can’t use it so what good is it. Buy the better quality lifetime warranty Harbor Freight tools, save significant money and get over your tool truck fetish that’s costing you money. You won’t have to wait a month for your tool truck guy if it breaks, they’re open everyday. You’ll find, more and more professional mechanics are cautiously buying the better quality Harbor Freight tools. Carefully though, the cheaper tools without warranties are for consumers not professionals. Really watch out for the cheaper electric tools, any hard use at all and they burn up.”
