We had a birthday party at the Little School house. It was clean, and equipped with items you need to have a pleasant party. I enjoyed having a fireplace during the winter, it kept us cozy.

Honestly, it’s a beautiful park! Tons of trails and scenic beauty! Perfect for the kids to get energy out and let the dogs play. The big red barn is perfect if you want to catch a few selfies or make some snap chats.

WAY cooler then I expected! This is a must see! Be sure to look for the portrait and the writing just to the left of it in pencil of a true account on the day the Titanic sank written by the man who started this grist mill. Very cool history!

This was a beautiful place at one time. Now you can not go much further than the front just past the parking area. Grounds keepers do not keep this property maintained, aka trails no longer accessible, small walking bridges collapsed. Trees down. Trash in the mini waterfalls, The Mill itself is rarely open. This is a great place to visit after a good snow. You will be able to capture amazing pictures.

what a nice place to take an afternoon stroll. although at least with T-Mobile I did not have any cell phone service anywhere around the grounds....so be sure that is not a requirement while visiting. Plenty to see and take photos of. and some nice trails to walk around the park. They did have a covered area with picnic tables, as well as a few picnic tables scattered throughout the park.Picnic area: they had a covered area with lots of picnic tables as well as a few picnic tables scattered throughout the park

Beautiful trails! Some are needing to be fixed and reopened due to flooding only reason in giving 4/5 stars. The mill is free and open everyday but Mondays. During the summer they will run the mill and you can watch them make flour. Great family activity and great place to take photos

Great place to visit! Nice trails, fun tower, and great pavilions. The mill was awesome and so fun to see in operation!Restrooms: The bathroom near the picnic shelter were put toilets that seemed pretty well maintained, and easily accessible, but the level of privacy is a bit limited (ventilated near the floor and ceiling and a screen door instead of a solid one). Serves the purpose of a place to potty, but be sure to monitor/help little kids and DO NOT DROP ANYTHING into the toilet if you ever want to see it again ? ?Bathrooms by the mill are very nice, set up like most public bathrooms. Private stalls inside a room with a solid door, 2 sinks with soap, and cleaned appropriately.Picnic area: Great area to eat! Plenty of open space to run or play field games and near all the trails.
