The worst company I have ever encountered. Was nearly ran out of propane after calling 8 times to get service completed on my tank. Was repeatedly lied to on all of these calls that lasted 30+ mins each that I would have a service technician the next day. Also, the prices charged for propane should be illegal , at least double of competitors. Do not use amerigas,ever.

I Was just made aware that I am paying an annual fee of $250 a year for tank rental and I have been a customer since 1981! I feel it should have ended or at least been greatly reduced at some point!

Absolute nightmare of an experience. Had a delivery on 12-9 the driver filled the tank, closed the valve and disconnected the gas line leaving a note that a leak check was needed and left. I approved this check when I called to place the order and confirmed I would be home for the check, but the driver just left. Now I have a full tank of gas and all phone numbers go to India, no office to visit, nothing but an assurance that they will get back to me within 24 hours, yet they never do. Going on 4 days without hearing anything.

Bad experience. Does not provide service as agreed in their contract. Does not offer a local physical location or 24 hour emergency service department when they drop the ball either. Unless you want to babysit a corporation to make sure they do their job, or want to speculate what they do with the money you pay when they don’t service your tank as agreed, please do yourself a favor and pick a different provider.

I am so tired of Amerigas stealing money and time from me. I want to state up front that the delivery individuals are great and this review does not reflect their work ethics at all. It is not their fault that they are at the mercy of an incompetent call center located in India. Amerigas will take money from you despite the fact that they do not complete work nor do they inform you that the work has never been done. Amerigas will not show up on days scheduled nor will they bother to notify you. Time is a resource that you can not get back and I have countless hours log in on the phone with this annoying call center. Please give us a hometown representative and get rid of the India call center. Do you just not care about customers anymore ?

We were upgrading to a larger Propane tank as we had a new propane furnace installed. Disconnecting and hauling off the older smaller tank and installation of the new larger tank went like clockwork!

The delivery was late, and we were running really low on propane during February. We were not contacted about the delivery being late (other than a text message), and when I called to ask when it would be rescheduled for, I had to speak to more than 1 person. It was expedited at no charge and delivered the next day, so I gave 2 stars instead of 1.

After 15 days, I finally received propane that was paid for 15 days ago had the best driver ever and he knew nothing about the order until the last minute and bless his heart because this company is horrible absolutely horrible my words not his I cannot wait to move Cannot get a manager anyone on the phone other than terrible customer service that put you off for no reason doesn’t even put your order in trying to wait for you to run out of propane how terrible with 0° weather outside those people ought to be ashamed of their self and the owners also, they know what’s going on!!!!! If it wasn’t for the driver, I wouldn’t even give him a star

The worst propane provider and the most expensive and I’ve been waiting two weeks past my delivery window for a fill up they have lied to me twice saying there coming and never show up and also don’t offer promo codes until after you fill up customer service is a joke spent 1.30 hrs on the phone with them to get no where

My husband and I are on a keep fill service but for some reason they didn't do so, leaving us without heat during 12 degree below zero wind chill for more than 24 hours. Totally unacceptable!!!

WORST COMPANY SERVICE EVER!! You can't reach anyone in the U.S. to order or check on your delivery. I've been totally out of propane for over a month and cannot get it delivered despite several promises that it would be. They've already been paid but still cannot get delivery. If I could rate it a negative number I would.

My local AmeriGas branch in Indianapolis got my delivery done when I was having difficulties. They've been very accommodating on a number of occasions. I appreciate their excellent customer service! They have been especially helpful to me as someone who doesn't have a lot of experience with this type of supply.
