“Don’t listen to the negative reviews, because if any of the ladies were “rude” to those customers, they absolutely did something to deserve it. These ladies are so kind and helpful.
I ship a lot of packages for my small business, and I’ve used a lot of USPS locations. This one is the kindest and most reliable by far! My packages are always scanned in same-day, and I haven’t had a single one lost since I started coming to this location.
To those of you complaining about the wait time, this location is very busy, and they only have two registers. If you have packages with prepaid labels, just leave them on the counter and the ladies will scan them in. You don’t have to wait. You can also do most things online to avoid having to wait in person. :)”

“The reviews on this page are more of a reflection of USPS as a whole, however the lowell branch is extremely friendly and fast. They do have high prices but that is expected shipping with a premier service. I would stay away from buying any packaging or labels here due to cost. However, the staff is always friendly and knowledgable.”

“I was in there a short while ago. One clerk and people all the way to the door, which is typical for most post offices lately. But this clerk was on fire. She got us out very quickly. I was extremely impressed. So kudos and brava to Ashley. She needs an 'S' across her chest because she really kept her line MOVING! SUPER CLERK! MSo to the powers that be- she deserves a bump in pay or something. And instead of being harried or rude, she remained pleasant when most might've been tearing their hair out. Great job Ashley! “Wow, a lot of negative reviews here on my local post office, I ship a lot things, especially for ebay, and for most, I rarely have an issue, if there is ever a delay, it's further along the pipe line. Once any package arrives at the cedar lake, same day or next day delivered, dropped off packages leave quickly as well, people I encounter at the desk are nice and polite, especially if you're smiling and being polite at them, I understand that packages get lost and damaged, but there's only so much that your local office can do, they are not magicians after all, and the customer service here compare to what I use to deal with in Chicago, night and day, so usps staff of Cedar Lake, thank you for your service and I appreciate you very much.”
