“Dr. Quivey is the best vet I have ever met. He is old school. He knows a heck of a lot about keeping dogs healthy. He also knows what he doesn't, and will suggest the best place for specialized care as he no longer does surgeries and they do not have a lab. You definitely get great competitive prices on all services. The staff is great too!”

“I recently switched to St. John from a vet that was walk in only. I only regret not switching sooner. The front desk staff, the techs, the vets, everyone is kind and patient. Where I was before was an extremely stressful environment and St. John is the opposite. My dog is extremely anxious at the vet and the (much) less stressful and happier environment at St. John has helped so much. Dr. Buggie and the tech Emma have been extra amazing with my dog and I am so grateful for them both! Could not recommend St. John Animal Clinic enough. 10/10”

“My dog had an exam and a dental cleaning done. He is a new patient with the practice and I have to say this vet is a breath of fresh air. I’ve been going to a large walk in clinic for years and really started to feel like a conveyor belt and over charged. I love how peaceful it is in the office, Dr. A was very informative during our first visit, and I never felt uneasy or worried when my baby was getting his teeth done. Needless to say, his teeth are sparkling clean and were very happy so far! They also kept me informed during the day and I never felt left in the dark.”
“I’ve was looking for a kind compassionate veterinarian to bring my pup too for about four or five years since I moved the Crown Point Indiana. Well, I finally found them. I have two dogs, one of them of which has some issues with his belly, this has been going on probably the last three years. Dr. Van Winkle and his staff are wonderful their patient And make you feel heard. I recently brought my Pup in because he was having another episode. Doctor took his time with me and gave me medication to coat his belly, some veterinarian food, and cerenia to go home with. Well within the next two days He was feeling so much better. I didn’t even have to give him his cerenia. I am so happy I found this office and these wonderful people”

“I had an appointment for my elderly cat at 5pm, this was on a day that they close at 7. I was getting him into their wellness program and worried about his current health. The vet was so informative and the staff even stayed until 730 just for my cat. Running tests, giving me information, and also giving me advice. They took their time figuring out the most affordable way for me to get my cat everything he needs, and they seems genuinely concerned for him. She even thanked me for adopting an elder (I got him when he was 12). They even called the next day to see how he was doing. Turns out my cat will be fine and hopefully we'll have another decade of memories together. I look forward to more appointments with them. It's refreshing after all the other locations I've been do, to have people actually tell me what's going and not just try to charge me for everything.”

“Conveniently located for us. Easy access off the highway too. We were able to walk in and get our pup checked out. We opted into one of the wellness programs which offers a numerous services for a monthly fee along with discounts on meds and other stuff. Walk ins are always welcome as well as prompt responses online or via text for appointments. The fact that Coyne offers everything from hospital services to grooming, documents/check ups for prepping for travel, and even boarding is great. Basically a one stop shop with friendly staff makes it an all around great place. We are new parents to our fur baby and Coyne certainly has helped us feel comfortable taking care of her. We recommend Coyne Veterinary in Crown Point 1000%.”

“I drove to FIVE different Veterinarian Hospitals when my beloved, 16-year-old cat, Nitty, suffered a hip fracture, that only got worse and worse from traveling such a long distance. Poor Nitty suffered more and more harm. I thank GOD for the assistance of the wonderful, caring, compassionate staff at this particularly Veterinarian Clinic, who immediately recognized how much my baby was suffering at that point; at that point, with two fractured rear hips and a diagnosis of Bone Cancer, by the Veterinarian herself. I would recommend this clinic to anyone seeking assistance with their animal companions. I commend their diverse, kind, loving staff of MERCIFUL ANGELS and BRAVE HEROES that took on the most HARSH of all things the animal caregivers must do; humanely put to sleep an animal companion that leaves any DECENT animal caregiver in TEARS. Thank you, to all the staff there, that took in my baby, giving her so much love, grace and rest, by sadly, doing the task they hate the most; having to put her to sleep. They went above any beyond to serve my loyal, loving cat, Nitty, Serenity, Petrus, at her darkest hour, who was by this former/inactive Certified Nursing Assistant's guardian from October 15th, 2011, to August 10th, 2026.”
