“I took my car to these guys a couple years ago, prior to COVID, because it had a horrible misfire. The guy looked at it and told me, then SHOWED me, the issue was a damaged spark plug wire.He asked if I wanted him to fix it after showing me how simple of a fix it was (99 cavalier 2.2 non eco-tec engine, plugs and wires are right on the front. Super easy DIY change)I said nah, I'll do it but offered to pay him for pointing me in the right direction. He refused to accept payment just because he looked at it for a couple minutes and told me what to do.That's true class right there. I wish more businesses had that level of ethnic principle about them.I reached out to them today (12/12/2022) about an issue with a different car, but they told me they are no longer in the mechanic business and only do towing.Sad times for an upstanding level of service. If they ever check out these reviews, I just want to say a thank you from myself (and others who might not have told them) about how awesome their mechanic service was.”

“Can't say enough about this place! We broke down on the interstate last week and called these guys. Owner, Chris, picked us up with a tow within 15 minutes after calling for service. Calipers had locked up. They replaced all rotors, pads, calipers and master cylinder the next morning. All for a completely reasonable price. The receptionist, Angie, was more than kind and extremely helpful with explaining the mechanical problems. Very down to earth and upfront people. I would recommend Shaffer's to anyone.”
