“Wonderful experience, great work and pays very very close attention to detail. The repair is so amazing that you CAN’T tell that it was ever damaged. “Tolley Automotive was recommended to me by a friend. I brought my 1992 Jeep YJ in with a long list of concerns and repairs and Troy checked off every one of them. Communication was easy and the work was excellent. My Jeep looks fantastic and runs superbly. I couldn’t be more pleased and will bring it back to Tolley Automotive for all repairs or maintenance.”

“I’m from Oklahoma and I got stranded in St John IN when the Dealerships couldn’t take my truck it. I had it towed to Diesel Pro in Crown Point and they took it right in. The Mechanic was a true expert. He ran a diagnostic on my truck and got many error codes involving the 5volt system. Because of the many 5v errors, he knew it wasn’t mechanical in nature and started looking for a short. What he found was associated with a previous repair and he fixed it. This place is absolutely awesome. They had me back on the road the next morning. They were friendly, very knowledgeable and a lot more concerned that I was stranded than the dealerships were!Service: Electrical”

“Highly recommend this spot! Erik was so great to work with; he dropped everything to take a look at our van as we were just passing through and wanted to get safely back on the road. He genuinely wanted to help us out and made sure we were good to go within an hour. Pricing was reasonable and the customer service was the best we’ve experienced at a mechanic. Thank you!!”

“Jerry started the shop, Mike is the son. Both are building engines and kicking butt. If your old school engine needs a rebuild or you’re trying to build your horsepower up, this is the place you need to be.We had our rare 454 LS-7 refreshed up/modernized. (big .680 hydraulic roller, 4 angle valve job, all new bearings, block hot tanked, honed, and barley decked) Rings gapped for nitrous. $200 for them to put it on a test stand, prime the engine, and dial in the timing/carb. Worth it 100%Pictures speak for themselves. We ran our fastest E/T time yet after the build and have had no issues with a 150 shot of nitrous. Great work is done by these guys. Go see them when you get the chance!”

“I took my daughter's vehicle here, thinking she needed brakes. After Dave checked it out, a sway bar was the problem and not the brakes. Honest people who did a great job. Highly recommend if your vehicle needs service.”

“A few weeks ago I had my oil changed at a place other than P&B. While at the other place the mechanic informed me of rear brakes needing replacment. "Not much left" he said. I said okay, maybe in a week or so. Well, last week I was searching for renting a Uhaul item and stopped in to P&B on Summit St. While there I noticed that they also worked on vehicles. As friendly as they were dealing with the Uhaul stuff, I decided the next day to have the rear brakes worked on. Cory put the SUV up on the rack in the shop , I waited on a comfy couch in the waiting room. 10 minutes later Cory came out and asked "who said I needed brake work"? I told him about the oil change guy and what I was told. Cory said brakes are still at 60% and the work was not needed at the time. He also said it takes more than a glance to determine if the rears pads are bad. When he looked closely (more so than the oil change guy) he saw that they had life left in them. I was not charged anything and thanked him for his honesty. Many other places would have done the unneeded work. BUT... P&B's and Cory's honesty sold me. Any work needed on my vehicle in the future will now be performed at P&B. I will also inform others about my experience. Hopefully they become customers too. Honesty pays.”

“Great place- better prices than Take 5 and quicker service. And despite being convinced for years they were using peanut oil leftover from the Jif peanut butter plant, they assured me they only used honest, real-life dinosaur juice and not peanut butter! Imagine my relief!”

“Dean is a very personable mechanic, seems trustworthy and experienced, even older cars which is a dying art now a days. Most mechanics, if a scan tool or computer doesn't tell them what is wrong, they can't fix it. Amanda at the desk is excellent at taking and relaying information. Everyone seems like a class act here. Definitely, I will come back.”

My truck battery died in the parking lot at a neighboring store and the two gentlemen at the shop were quick and willing to get my truck up and going again even though they were about to close for the day. So thankful for their kindness! Thank you!”

“My car was towed by their truck within an hour of my call. The issues with my car were explained to me fully by the mechanic. I was kept apprised of what was happening and when my car would be ready. I believe the price was fair for the work that was done. Very satisfied!”

“Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. They explain things to you. Prices were pretty much the going rate if not slightly cheaper than a few other places, so I’d say this is a good place to go”

“I was headed out the other night to run a few errands. To my disappointment, my tire pressure had dropped quite a bit since the dreaded winter weather crept in overnight. ?? I panicked for a min because I have several med issues that makes it quite difficult to do normal things, let alone be out in the nasty cold. But instantly my mind went straight to The Oil Exchange in Crown Point. They have always taken care of me every time I've went to them. I've been a NWI peep for over 40 yrs.Lol. Thank God I live about 8 or so mins from them but it was 5:53pm (they close at 6pm) when i pulled out of my driveway.. So I was DEF praying to make it on time so I cld humbly ask if they cld plz fill my tires..Well I arrived a minute or 2 after 6pm and cld see the bays were shut down but by God's grace the open light was still left on so I figured id pull around to see if anyone was still in there that I cld see. I was INCREDIBLY BLESSED to see a young man (Mo, who I learned is the new store manager before I was leaving) acknowledge me quickly and politely headed out the door to see what I needed. He first told me he was very sorry but everything was already shut down for service otherwise he'd get me right in.. I said oh no.. I just need air in my tires please.. He didn't hesitate for a second. He said no problem, opened the bay door and another young friendly gentlemen came out with Mo and they both filled all my tires in a heartbeat even after he doubled checked my door for proper air pressure.I know it might be small to some but God gave me a HUGE BLESSING thru Mo and his team. He didn't have to come outside after hours to see what I needed but he did. He didn't have to open the door and get his teammate to grab the air nozzle machine but he did. He didn't have to take the time to help or listen to me, but he did. That's TRUE top notch customer caring quality service!! ???I've read several bad reviews for this oil exchange and it's heartbreaking. I've always received WONDERFUL care starting back in the 90s. It's no secret that some people care more than others. Trust me, I've met SEVERAL that have done me wrong. But I've also made my share of HORRIBLE mistakes and PRAISE GOD that I'm forgiven and set FREE. His mercies are NEW EVERY morning. PRAISE JESUS!!So I encourage anyone who has been hurt or done wrong with car shops to give Oil Exchange another shot. I believe Mo will do GREAT things for this company and be a GREAT asset to all his other WONDERFUL team members!! You guys have ALWAYS worked so hard!! Thank you ALL INFINITELY!! Never forget that God sees all and will NEVER fail or forsake His children!! ??????????????Love you all to pieces, JESUS loves us MOST!! Lead us HOLY SPIRIT!! Glory to God!! ??? Psalm 121, Psalm 23, Philippians 4, Psalm 34, Matthew 6, John 15, Psalm 30, Romans 8, 2 Corinthians 5, Romans 12, Acts 3, Romans 6, John 14, Ephesians 2, Psalm 91 over you all!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤Ps. I also KNOW it was God's PERFECT SOVEREIGNTY and protective BLESSING to lead me to CP Oil Exchange just in time because my tire pressure was scrolled over to that directory and blinking.. I Always have it set on gas tank level and ignorantly/naively always forget to check my tire pressure. ? PRAISE YOU LORD GOD!! YOU ARE the GREAT I AM!! (Exodus 3:14?) King of it ALL!! (Psalm 47 ?) ???????”
