“Crew Carwash broke the back windshield wiper off my car. They required that a collision/body shop provides a quotation. I called Lafayette Auto Plus, and the rep scheduled an appointment for a free estimate at my convenience. I was in and out in fifteen minutes.They sent the quotation directly to Crew so I didn’t have to sort out the money through either the Carwash folks or the body shop — this made things so smooth for me.Everyone I spoke to was incredibly nice, but Danny went above and beyond for me. He kept me in the loop on the claim status with Crew and ordering my parts, and the repair was done in less than half an hour. Everything was perfect, the wiper is beautiful, and I couldn’t be happier.I truly hope I don’t need a body shop again in the future, but when life happens, I’ll absolutely be visiting Lafayette Auto Plus again. If you’re reading this review, you’re probably looking for a good collision shop, and I can’t recommend this shop enough. 5/5 stars.”

“My daughter and I drove her new-to-us vehicle from Madison, WI to Purdue for a college visit. Halfway to Chicago i realized I never took it to my excellent mechanic to give it a once over. But, too late at that point.Saturday morning we decided to take a little tour around the area to get a feel for it. And of course just as we were getting ready to drive home, the check engine light came on. Almost 300 miles from home - not a good feeling. I started looking for repair shops. I saw Herrera's was open. The reviews all said how pleased they were with the service and what a great guy Mr. Herrera is.Turns out the reviews were all true and then some. I explained the situation. He offered to run a diagnostic and possibly if it was a quick job he could do it, but he didn't want to promise anything.Turned out it was a coolant sensor and he called for a replacement part immediately. He said we didn't have to do the repair- he could return the part if we didn't use it. He wasn't pushy or impatient and was not at all condescending when he explained the problen. I gave him the go ahead and much sooner than I expected it was finished. My daughter and I were surprised at how reasonable the bill was.I realized later that I set myself up to get a highly inflated bill by being honest about our situation. Fortunately Mr. Herrera was just as honest back. I cannot thank him enough, nor can I recommend him highly enough. If my daughter chooses Purdue and has a car with her, she will use Herrera's for service even though there are probably places closer to campus.Service: General repairs & maintenance”

“Kinda rough around the edges but great prices, great service and they do jobs that others won't. I was changing a tire and my lug nuts snapped in half. Needed them removed. Called around town and no "tire" store would touch it. Beneath them, I guess. Someone recommended Big Wheels so I called them. They told me to bring the car in the next day. I did, and left it with them. Had it ready to pick up in a few hours. Heated the lug nuts and got them off. Did not have to replace the studs, which they told me was a possibility. Saved me time and money. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.”
