“I love places like this because they shine a light on the animals that usually get overlooked. And if we’re being honest… don’t we all know what that feels like in some way?
Mice, chipmunks, squirrels, raccoons — just because they’re seen as an inconvenience doesn’t mean they don’t deserve life. It genuinely bothers me how easily people treat these animals with cruelty simply because they don’t fit neatly into our everyday world.
Like… haven’t we evolved past that kind of thinking?
I love that spaces like this exist, because they give people the opportunity to actually see these animals differently — and maybe even challenge the capacity of their own compassion.”

As a staple in the community of ( Tarrytown ) the Post has been serving residents for generations. Desimination of military related information on all levels of government to keep veterans abreast of ongoing changes and challenges is always priority. With a full slate of officers proper direction is a cornerstone of the Amvets. A good meal is always available along with chess, pool, comradery, and music. It's a good place to relax and spend time enjoying yourself just getting away.”

“Nice and simple to go and work out, enjoy a class weekly. Many open gym times available. Kids zone is great and right in the hallway close to the workout rooms and gym to check on your kids. The staff is extremely nice and always helpful.
Birthday parties in the gym are amazingly easy and simple to let the kids run off energy and just have fun.”
“I have followed the rescue on Facebook for a long time, and when I was ready I put in my application. It took a while and I did send messages asking about a handful of dogs before we were contacted. We had a phone interview, a FaceTime call, and then we met our guy in person at his foster home. His foster home was very nice and I could tell he was well cared for. You have to be patient but if you put in your application and persist, hopefully it can work out for you too! Thanks MWDR!”
