“We don’t have a Gabe’s in our town, so we’ve visited several locations throughout the Midwest. While this particular store didn’t have quite the selection I’ve seen at some of the other locations, the staff—especially the manager, Cara—were exceptional.
Everyone was very personable, friendly, and welcoming. I had a small issue with a vacuum cleaner I purchased about a week earlier, and Cara went above and beyond for me. Her customer service was far beyond what I expected, and I truly appreciated her willingness to help.
The selection may vary from location to location, but the outstanding customer service at this store definitely made an impression.”

“I like this store. It’s really fun of going. I love all their squishy toys, but I just wish they could have some in stock for the whole day because we all know the trend right now and we know everybody wants some.”
“The Dollar is a great place for items that cost $1.25 and up. The Dollar Tree used to be exactly that. A Dollar Tree. I guess changing their name to the $1.25 Tree just wouldn't be the same. ;)
Best place for helium balloons. They have a wide assortment of balloons for any occasion. They have a huge variety of gift wrapping options and any occasion cards. A definite go-to place for party supplies.
They also have a huge selection of seasonal items for Christmas, Halloween, Easter, etc...

“Friendly staff and they were busy but as soon as the woman stocking saw the line she stopped and came right up to assist. As a manager I know you have other jobs than just cashier while you are working but she did a great job of recognizing her need.”
“The store is better-stocled than ever, and the employees have been working hard to straighten the shelves and keep everything well maintained. The store is improving fast!”
“I had the pleasure of being served by a gentleman with a shaved head, goatee, and glasses who is absolutely top-notch. He’s always upbeat, genuinely friendly, and deeply caring—his positive energy truly brightens your entire day. If everyone approached their work (and life) with his kindness and enthusiasm, the world would be a much better place. Highly recommend!”
“This is a multi weekly store for shopping for staples.... especially BIC lighters which they never run out of. However, the grocery outlet has they cheapest priced BIC lighters $1.29+tax = $1.53 .”
“Very convenient and close to most locations. It has a variety of items from toiletries to food to room decorations. They usually do have items for up-coming holidays and clothing items!”
“My Favorite Dollar Tree! These people are down-to-earth & the place is always neat. They always have what I am looking for even when I didn't know I was looking for it, lol”
“Went shopping this evening, there’s a new person there. Freaking fantastic customer service!! I couldn’t remember their name but he is new there and has done a great job of service. Thank you again!”
“This is a store (company) that operates in the furniture industry (shopping & retail). I wasn't sure, so I posted for anyone who may be curious.I will update the review upon my visit there.”
“Shame on the owner on this store for working these employees to the point they have to leave!!!!!!! Wonderful store and location. Great, sweet, kind and professional hourly employees and store manager!DO BETTER OWNERS!!!”
“I've been shopping here for well over 20 years and it's one of my favorite dollar stores always find what I need the employees are always nice and helpful”
“Well I couldn't buy the laundry detergent because they were out so I guess I have to search at another one thank God there's more than one of them in the city.⏳”
“I visit this DG weekly because its easy amd in the neighborhood. I always see the same staff. They are all helpful and welcoming, however, Liz and Tara go above and beyond. Even when they are working alone, they get things done and the store is always in order. Give these girls some raises!!!”
“The new Store Manger who took over this location has done a fabulous job since she started getting the store back in shape... Although, it's a never ending cycle of high turn over rates and some employees need better customer service skills, She is quick to resolve customer complaints in a very professional & friendly manner. I hope they will find better employees in the future to help support her in her efforts of making this store its best. She definitely doing better than any manager thryve had the last 10 years.”
“By far my favorite DG to shop at. Everything is clean and tidy. The employees were super nice and helped me find what I needed. I had some trouble with my app but the manager helped me!”
“As of August 2026, me and my bestie have REALLY enjoyed what they’re doing with our dollar tree! It’s really organized recently and the decor out front is looking better and better. Not paid, not friends with whoever, but it’s just looking really good in there as my local dollar tree. Love it!”
“Well, its a Dollar General. Everyone goes in expecting really low prices but complain when something looks cheap or breaks sooner than they'd expected. I really like the staff at this location because they dont look miserable to be there; the associates usually seem to be in a good mood and that makes a difference. And CiCi is great, wish she were my bff 😂”
“One of the best Dollar Generals I’ve been to - always clean and has an extremely wide selection of food, decor, household products, pet items, and so much more. The staff is also very friendly and kind, every staff member I’ve met has been so helpful, positive, and down to earth good-hearted people. I love this store and highly recommend!”
“I’ve used this store for the past 4 years and for them to be understaffed constantly they’re always nice. Yes they have a lot out of stock at time but they do great at filling them. Absolutely love this store & staff they literally deserve a raise.”
“I couldn't take any pictures, but I wanted to tell you that it had been a long time since I'd been to this store, and I was surprised to find everything in its place, very clean, and the staff very friendly. I will definitely be back many more times. Congratulations to the people who made this happen!”
“We would like bring attention to the fact that one of your employees "Jeremy " on 11-27- 2023 at about 5pm was very honest! Thank you Jeremy! We dropped a very expensive smart watch in the store and didn't notice it. He picked it out and ran out the door and got it to us before we left. We very much value honest people and want to say thank you so much and the company should be thankful to have a great employee.”

“They didn't have what I was looking for this time but I'm always in there finding things I didn't even know I needed. Will definitely go back in near future. Employees over there are always super sweet & willing to help or answer any questions.”
