“The Farmhouse is an amazing boutique store! The owner (Kiersten), Shannon and Carol are the sweetest women. They always greet each customer with a smile and warm welcome to the store. They are so helpful when you are looking for something special. I always leave there happy. The best selection of unique gifts, home decor, apparel and food items. And THE BEST, most AMAZING candles EVER! I won’t buy candles from any other place.”

As someone who recently took a job in Evansville and is still getting to know the city, River city Coffee Shop has quickly become one of my favorite places. Lots of different seating options inside and outside. Doesn’t look like your average coffee shop.
A coworker took me on a walk during my first week, and we stopped in for a latte. It was honestly one of the best lattes I’ve had. The espresso is rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced. But as great as the coffee is, what truly makes this place special is the atmosphere and the people.
I’ve now been there at least six times in the span of a week, and every single employee has been incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuine. The customer service is exceptional. Please don't get me started on the “GOODS”. I mean “WOW” As a stationary Fanatic I’ll save the detailed review for the sister store next door, MEMO.
What stands out the most, though, is the owner, Heather. She is one of the warmest and friendliest people I’ve met. Every visit feels like being welcomed into a community rather than just a coffee shop. And coming from someone who has spent over 15 years in hospitality, that says a lot. I came back to my work place to share with some other staff how excited i was after meeting her and one of my employees explain that she spoke at their high school graduation i mean talk about A LOCAL TRENDSETTER.
Moving to a new city can be intimidating, but River city Coffee Shop has made Evansville feel a little more like home. Knowing there are people like Heather and her team in this community has made my transition so much more comforting. Thank you for the warm welcome, the amazing coffee, and for creating such a special place. ☕❤.

The young lady that helped me was Julia and she is a delight!My daughter loves this place but I had never been in before today. I love their Hello Kitty merch! I got an adorable Hello Kitty sweatshirt. All their mini- backpacks, purses, and wallets were fabulous. I fell in love with the Alice in Wonderland mini-backpack. Got some great coupons when I checked out. Great, helpful employees. Can't wait to go back!”
