Goodwill Store & Donation Center offers an opportunity to donate gently used items and shop sustainably, supporting the tristate community. Its mission focuses on helping people, families, and communities thrive through relationships, education, and work. The organization aims to provide a hand up rather than a handout by breaking down barriers to employment through job training, digital skills, and education. With 14 locations across the tristate, donations and purchases help fund these efforts. Customers appreciate the welcoming atmosphere and the friendly staff, many feeling like they are at a second home. However, some find the store to be small and note that prices for donated items can be high. There are occasional issues, such as loud conversations that can be challenging for those with hearing impairments or service dogs, highlighting the need for better understanding and respect. Overall, Goodwill is valued for its community support and dedication to helping individuals improve their lives.
Loved the selection of clothes, and every week there is a color picked, that is on all of the items tags.. if your item has the color of the week on the tag, it's half off. So you can get some really good deals. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

I mean why is all the prices ridiculously high at the goodwills? I mean isn't that the point of the second hand stores is for people to be able to afford stuff there. Why is the prices so high?
