“Blessing helped me feel completely comfortable in my skin as a nonbinary person and hyped up my purchase of a dress. I love the unique styles, the atmosphere, and most importantly the kindness of the staff here.Sugar Town Vintage is a Louisville Staple and a MUST see when you are in town our touring. Be sure to pay them a visit if you are in town and into vintage clothing and unique jewelry and style!”
“This was a really interesting shopping experience. I'd consider coming here to furnish my home. There were many interesting finds. The place is also massive. It would take an hour to see everything. There are booths that'd be great for costuming, old dinner ware, furniture, posters, really a little of everything.I will note that there aren't any $50 dressers, so if you're looking for a steal, that won't happen. Prices are fair, but I wouldn't say that these are flea market prices.”
“This is one of my favorite thrift stores in the area. They are reasonably priced, volunteer ran and friendly. I prefer to take my donations here since the money goes to a good cause- helping furry friends! I always find a little something to take home with me.”
“Absolutely adore this place & everything about it. Some really interesting antique/vintage finds, cheap beer, and the coolest cat in life. Was able to bring some food from around the corner, have a drink and shop. Can't think of a better way to spend an afternoon. Can't wait to return to see Mr. Louis & check out fun finds.”
“This place has awesome vintage apparel and super fair prices :) Their selection is some of the best that I’ve found from my times in Louisville and Southern Indiana.Ryan and his mom are so kind, helpful, and awesome to be around! Definitely give this store a visit if you’re in the area”
“Visiting from Nashville and loved this store! Everything is super cool and really reasonably priced!! The owner is also so sweet! Definitely will come back next time we’re in town”
“I brought my daughter here for her prom dress shopping. She found the dress of her dreams and was treated way better than she was at another formal store. I am very excited for my daughter and I can't wait to bring her back for more shopping!”
“Great experience— the selection was so good. Highly curated, but still something for everyone. Will definitely be making another trip from Indy to go again.”
“Heard great things from friends and family. Decided to visit and shop. Found quiet a few nice collared men's shirts for my father in law. My mother in law found some nice things as well. The store was clean and nicely organized. Prices were affordable. Wish our Tennessee version thrift on a mission was as nice and affordable.”
“All the people complaining about the "don't steal/move stuff around" signs makes me wonder if they've ever worked retail/customer service. The theft signs are almost all by the little jewelry pieces and the moving sign is in a basement full of breakable, organized items. It's not unreasonable, nor is it even unusual for thrift shops.
On a nicer note: There are a ton of neat items! Cool boxes and furniture pieces and candlestick holders were some of my favorites. It's admittedly not as trendy as some thrift shops, however it's way more reasonably priced and not lacking in neat finds. The man at the counter was very nice and let me give his dog a treat. I would recommend for people who like decor and kitchenware and furniture.”
“Great shop with a truly eclectic collection of toys, games, music, books, clothes from 60s-80s. Condition is definitely above average and the owner is a very helpful and friendly person. My wife and I had so much fun yelling at each other "Come check this out!" So much to see in a small shop. The owner does an outstanding job of making effective use of space. Everything stands out! Hard to focus on any one thing for long and I mean that as a compliment! Thanks to the owner for such a fun experience!”
“This place is rad! They’ve got a huge selection and you can tell the owner is thoughtful about what’s going on the racks. It’s hard to walk out empty handed!”
“once upon a Child in Clarksville has really helped me due to being able to purchase things for my child in my budget the Employees are always very helpful and very polite. I definitely recommend this store. Their store is always clean and very well organized.”
“it’s a typical Goodwill, which is always hit and miss and a mixed bag of pros and con. Their prices are steep on certain items which is wild for a secondhand store selling donations.”
“Great people but overworked and understaffed. If you're selling clothes, make sure you go online FIRST! So you can understand what they take and how to bring your items in. *NO TRASH BAGS** I would recommend this place if you're trying to get rid of old clothes in good condition.”
“Shout out to Nick at the drop off part of goodwill. I got out to give my donation and found out one of my tires were flat. I pulled over to the side and he helped me change my tire all while going back and forth helping other customers at the donation drive through. He did not have to do that at all. He offered to help me amd was very kind. I am especially grateful because my little ones were with me. Thank you, Nick! Nick needs a promotion!”
“Clean, great selection, kinda pricey for second hand material objects. Goodwill has gotten too expensive. 4 bucks for a shirt and 10 for jeans?? Some people don't make that an hour so I no longer visit them but once a year. I should have spent 35 but I spent 80. For a handful of things. SMH.”
