About Ft Wayne Rescue Mission
The Rescue Mission, founded in 1903, is a faith-based, nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization, providing restorative care to men, women and children experiencing a homeless crisis. The Mission is comprised of four ministries (or houses) that function as communities of compassion. They offer free meals and an overnight shelter for men. The organization serves Fort Wayne, Allen County and its nine surrounding counties. Reviewers describe it as a "great place to get back on your feet" with programs and referrals to help those in need. However, some note it is the only option for the homeless in Fort Wayne, with certain restrictions and requirements.

I've never personally been there or needed their services, but I do know others who have spoken highly of them and their services.

Here at The Rescue Mission you have shelter, clean water, community resources, & a place to sleep. They offer a 30 day program where you may get a bed and locker. Otherwise, they offer cots. Here you can find 3 free meals (breakfast, lunch, & dinner.) Clean water to drink and shower, etc.
