About The Salvation Army Thrift Store & Donation Center
The Salvation Army Thrift Store & Donation Center is a large, well-organized, and clean store located between Popeyes and a Fairfield hotel, across from a Home Depot. Its spacious layout makes browsing easy, and the store offers a good variety of clothing and household goods at affordable prices, making it a worthwhile spot for bargain hunters. The store is known for its friendly staff who are helpful and welcoming, especially for those looking for specific clothing options, such as plus-size or shorter sizes. The store is also appreciated for its donation options, encouraging people to donate items instead of throwing them away, as others can benefit from them. However, some reviews mention that the store is understaffed, leading to policies that may feel inconvenient, such as the requirement to leave purses and bags in cars or with staff, which some customers find rude or off-putting. Prices are considered somewhat high for a thrift store, and there are occasional issues with cleanliness and safety, such as staff coughing without masks or handling items without proper hygiene. Despite these drawbacks, the store remains a popular place to find unique items and support a good cause, with a mix of positive and constructive feedback from shoppers.
This is my favorite ft Wayne Thrift Store. Good prices, friendly staff.

Typical thrift shop. This one is large and spacious with lots of room to wander around. Plenty of clothing as well as household goods. Clean, quiet, tidy. Worth a look if you're hoping for a bargain.
