It's nice that people enjoy seeing our furry friends at these places, but be mindful and don't just start petting without asking. A lady tried coming straight up to my back to pet my polecat/ferret without announcing herself, and I had to jerk around before she got nipped. Please just ask.

4593 S Mauxferry Rd, FranklinI’m delighted to have found a groomer who got it just right! My miniature dachshund has long hair of many lengths so it can easily get knotted up. Yet I didn’t want him shaved short. Megan got it just right. She carefully sculpted Nash’s fur to the same length throughout. His ears trimmed up made him look like a little grown up guy for his second birthday. He looks adorable and had a good time hanging out with Megan. Thanks for sharing your excellent skills!

Contingent upon our needs for urgent care and/or annual wellness we have seen most all of their vets. They have worked with us in times of more urgent needs, appointments etc. And as hard as it is, we have also had experiences in euthanizing our older pups. Franklin Animal Clinic's team are a class act and handle everything with great care and compassion. I would encourage anyone to trust Franklin Animal Clinic with their furbabies!

Hillview Veterinary Clinic

Their staff is great I usually speak with Allisa since she is the lady we first met in the beginning. I recommend Hillview to anyone.

We’ve since moved a half an hour away and still bring our girls here because we trust them so much! It’s never fun leaving our dogs behind, but I always feel reassured by the staff at Funny Farm - they really have the sweetest people working there and you can tell they love what they do. That’s what gives me peace of mind, knowing that we are leaving our dogs in good hands. I also appreciate that they post a picture or two on Facebook, it’s so nice to see them while we’re apart! Our dogs are always happy and healthy when we pick them up, so we will be returning to Funny Farm again and again.

Johnson County Animal Shelter
2160 Graham Rd, FranklinI would recommend adopting a pet from the Johnson County Animal Shelter if you’re looking for a new four legged family member! I put in an application and was approved within a couple days. When my roommate and I went to meet some cats the tech was super helpful. She was knowledgeable on the cats they had and did her best to point out cats that might be a good fit for us. We didn’t feel pressured in the slightest. They even microchipped our kitty for free. Overall a great experience and we couldn’t be happier with our sweet boy.
