I keep having problems with this bank. First I check my account twice maybe more time a day. This time I checked in and my money was pending with a maintenance message. I checked in an hour later and the pending money is gone. I tried calling and it kept sending me to different options that I didn't choose. I tried getting to someone I can speak to and again it kept sending me somewhere else. Where is my money?

DO NOT BANK HERE! THEY WONT LET SOMEBODY CLOSE OUT THEIR DEAD SPOUSE BANK ACCOUNT! He went up there TWICE and they kept giving him problems and tried to avoid saying why they can’t close the account. Told him to leave and said they’ll call the police. What type of people don’t help out somebody’s that’s grieving, trying to close his wife’s account!!

The West Ridge Road location in Gary, Indiana has really disappointed me with customer service and they hardly ever answer the phone line. I was on hold and there was literally no customers inside, when I arrived, while still on hold. Outrageous! I sure do miss First Midwest ?

My purse was stolen with my bank card. I tried several times to call,that was no help. phone service sent me to VM several times then hung up on me. I'm not happy. This is not good service people my card was stolen and you need to know!

I don’t like that I used to have simple free, checking From First Midwest now I get charged a monthly fee, also, I don’t like how if you deposit cash you can’t use it until the next day when it wasFirst Midwest used to be able to take cash deposit it if it was inside or with the Teller inside or through the drive-through and it was available immediately as a client of this company. I believe I’m going to switch over to Chase or BMO Harris because they have simple free checking.

I would give this location 0 stars if I could. I wanted to change my student checking account to a regular checking account but bank teller wrongly told me that I would have to close down my old account to make a new one, and thus had to get a new card. Another first midwest location told me that I didn't have to get a new checking account at all, I just had to change the type I had. After I opened up a new account the teller told me that he could cut my old card up for me and throw it away. Well apparently he didn't dispose of it good enough because someone was able to retrieve my old card information and buy makeup with it a couple of weeks after when the card was supposed to be closed. To add insult to injury the bank charged me another fee.
