I was thoroughly impressed by the community-centric nature of this free event. It offered various freebies and showcased an exciting basketball game featuring Notre Dame basketball teams and local high schools. I genuinely hope they make this event a regular occurrence in the community, not only to highlight Notre Dame basketball but also as a platform for community outreach.”

You can park anywhere in the Princess City Plaza and walk to the different stores it’s that convenient.”

After shopping or selling your used items Hacienda Restaurant at this location has a patio that you can enjoy the weather. Across the street are many more shopping stores. Too many to list but worth going.”

“A lot of shopping and food options. Only reason they lost a star is because the tables in the food court tend to be sloppy and the bathrooms have water for soap. I dont know about you but I need some sudsy soap to properly clean my hands after using the restroom.”

“I had Google Maps to go to the Emergency Dentist, but those only gave me general directions. The signage could be better, as well as smaller signs near each of the many buildings there. Just a suggestion. Once you figure out where your destination is, it's Easy Peasy.”

“My wife and I visited Pet Supplies Plus, Auto ZONE, and Dollar Tree. The shopping center is clean with plenty of parking. We have been to Penn Station and 1st Source Bank. There is also a Starbucks for coffee and a bicycle shop! The location at SR 23 and Ironhood is convenient to Notre Dame campus and student housing. We will be back!”

“Lots of interesting items and we got lots of goodies but be very careful about what you pick up. A lot of the food, personal items, and cleansers are all expired (coffee expired 11-2022 and it's 6-2023). And nearly all the nail polishes and serums were open and used. Otherwise, we did buy some fun stuff here.”

“Small airport, but genuinely nice and friendly, a real breath of fresh air compared to bigger hubs. There's only one restaurant on site, mostly burgers and sandwiches, but everything is grilled fresh right there, so it actually tastes great, not like typical airport food. What really stood out was the staff. Our flight got delayed, and instead of the usual airport nightmare, the team here genuinely helped. Compare that to somewhere like Chicago, where a delay means you're stuck trying to rebook online or waiting forever on hold - no real person to talk to, and even when you find one, they're too busy to actually help. South Bend felt like a small village: friendly, helpful, respectful people who actually took care of us. So even with the delay, we walked away loving this little airport. Highly recommend, it's proof that small doesn't mean lesser when it comes to genuine hospitality.”
