βI had a bad experience at this store a few years ago so I didnβt plan on shopping here again. But I was in the area today and stopped in for a few items and Iβm glad I did. The store was much cleaner and better organized then it was a few years ago. The employees were up beat and very helpful! Thank you for making this store a place to shop at again!β

βMy favorite store in Hammond. Most things are reasonably inexpensive. Always very clean. Cashier are very quite. They are not very engaging and honestly most of them seem very bored. The butcher are really nice tho and always speak and willing to help find thingsβ
βDecently organized! Imo the best deals are seasona/specialtyl items! The food items are so- so price wise, make sure you check expiration dates. The workers are helpful and friendly.β

βThis is now a Dollar Tree Plus and it's cute to see the items they offer online. Everything is clearly marked if it's more than $1.25. Staff could be a little friendlier and helpful.β
βLove OTP due to their endless varieties from garden/patio, housewares, furniture, artwork, lamps, sheets, pet accessories, and now clothing. The cashiers and customer service teams are super friendly and eager to assist. The prices are reasonable and store is always well stocked with good quality merchandise.β
βDollar Tree was a better experience this time. The line was getting long and there were seniors in the line. A second line was opened to move the seniors. That was the most thoughtful thing I've ever seen a Dollar Tree employee do. This is normally a semi-busy location.β
βThis is my favorite dollar store! ? I buy all my toiletries, snacks and food here. They have pretty much everything now even meat produce, vegetables and fruit.
Not to mention the staff is amazing! I have built very strong connections with each and every one of them. They are very friendly and helpful. :-)β
βDollar tree in Schererville IN is well stocked. The building is old but clean and mostly organized. Prices are lower than other stores and the quality isn't bad. Staff is friendly.β

βAssociate #2432222 was doing an awesome job on 11/9/24! She was welcoming everyone coming into the store even though she was super busy trying to keep the long line moving as fast as she could and being very polite to everyone!β
βToday there was an experience where a lady with kids ended up breaking a whole aisle full of glasses and the two ladies working were so good about how they handled it. The store was as clean as it could be it's an older store and the staff that was on duty today was beautiful.β
βHappened to shop here for the vitamins here aren't too expensive. The fruit and accessories are to good to come by. I likely shopped to the extent of essential items such as q tips and shampoo and razors. The use of purchasing a iTunes card at the reasonable credit also helps. Nevertheless a great store to come through and shop.β
βThis store deserves some recognition. Every other dollar store I go to the store is always filthy and disorganized. I come to this location all the time and they always have everything clean and stocked well and every single employee here is friendly, which also you donβt see at many dollar stores. Whatever management is doing at this location they are doing it right, keep up the awesome work.β
βEach dollar tree is different as far as geologically. Once u get out of the more ethnic areas the variety of things you can find is amazing! Sad to say but the hood Dollar tree is a 5 go to the white neighborhood and u definitely have an upgraded experience. Sorry to say but it's the truth. A whole different shopping experience n Munster and schererville...β

βVery clean but only 1 register was open. Which is sad being we are in Corona season. I feel the more registers the quicker people can get out the store and back to the safety of their homes.β
βSo I normally go to family dollar but took a chance on dollar general and so glad I did. They have so much nice home decor items for cheap which I love. There store was nice and clean as well. This made it easy to find things I definitely will be shopping here from now on.β
βAlot of items are $1.25, but still a good deal. Plenty of items are still $1. Store is usually stocked and keeps multiple cash registers open to keep lines from getting crazy like other Dollar Tree stores.β
βVery good prices at this location. If you do your price comparisons you will notice significant price values at this location. Good service and friendly staff. Easy to find store workers on the floor willing to assist me in locating itemsβ
βFor the convenience and it is in our neighborhood. BUT ... they need to keep it stocked and clean. I was disappointed during a recent visit. it was cluttered. shelves were disorganized as well as refrigerated section. No shopping carts to shop with and store wasn't even full. no bags at self checkout. Poorly run. Landscaping looking beautiful thoughβ
βWhen I walked in the Dollar General, I was greeted with a sincere hello, and welome to Dollar General, not the robotic hello. I had to come on here to do a review. I overheard the phone ring, and a customer was asking if they had an item. She HAPPILY placed the customer on hold, and went to check to see if they had the item. Came back and informed the customer. I was looking for a particular item. She showed me where it should have been, but they were all out of stock. She was genuine and sincere while I was checking out. This is definitely rare these days. I told her to stay the way she is, and that it was appreciated.β
βThe staff here is so friendly. The store is always well stocked and clean. Rarely do I see one of the big carts full of things to be put on the shelf that block isles in most dollar generals. It's my go to DG.β
