“Their machine shop sorted my cylinder head out, resurfaced, and replaced the valves and seals after our vw timing chain tensioner failed, jumped time and bent all 8 intake valves. Dealer wanted to replace the engine at $9500 but since we have a place like this that still fixes things, saved $8500 and back up and running! Thank you!”

After having my vehicle nearly totaled by an underage, unlicensed, uninsured driver - I was without my vehicle from January to August. I had THE most horrible experience with my-then second rate insurance company (American Alliance) who could care less about my claim, much less answer the customer service line. From the very first phone encounter with Martinez Auto in July, I began to feel like things were turning in my favor. Arnie and Eddie were so professional, pleasant and kind - and I really appreciated that. They kept me informed every step of the way, making sure I was updated on the progress of my car. They sent a guy over to help put a spare on and then we followed him back to the shop for a fix. Ended up getting a new tire and stayed open after closing time to finish the job. “Overall they did a good job with my bumper. It looks clean and new. In fixing the bumper they had to remove the tail light. When they re installed it back, it stopped working. They re-taped my wires in an attempt to fix but that didn’t work. I ended up needing to hire a mechanic to fix. My main issue was that they never called me to tell me about the issue. It was noted in my file but I was never informed. But overall good job on the bumper.”

“I’ve been going to this junkyard for almost 10 years now, I’m on my 48th vehicle, they have everything all the time everywhere. This is the only junkyard I’ve found that offers a year and 3 months warranty on electric parts. Not to mention the batteries and tires that are in good to great condition and you can had pick yourself.”
“They put my brothers tires on his car for Goodyear assurance tires 80,000 niles on a 16 in. Rim average about $760 with road hazard. Those tire are hybrid touring and performance. ??”
“I love this location.They are always helpful.I went in for tires and had problems with my battery and they identified and fixed the problem.They called while I was shopping to let me know my battery was bad and did I want to purchase a new one.As well as I ordered the wrong size tires and they helped me buy the correct ones and return the other ones.The prices wasn't too steep and everything was done the same day.”
