“Pretty great family dollar location. have been going here for 15+ years and have minimal complaints throughout. service is consistently great to good. the locations ability to struggle through many disasters, like cars being driven into it and break-ins, and bounce back so efficiently is admirable. serving the community well.”

“It has to change its name..there is nothing in there for a dollar..$1.25 and up to $10.00..It's crazy..not a great store anymore because you know you use to pay so much less..some items went from a dollar to $1.50 over night..I shop less and when I go I buy alot less..only get $1.25 items if I can...So sad.”
“Whenever I go in here I m always blessed to find some hidden gems.,.... 4 the dirt..... Don't sleep on family dollar. P.s. always check the clearance aisle first. Ijs. I have gotten some steals this year just from checking that aisle...”
“When I walked in the Dollar General, I was greeted with a sincere hello, and welome to Dollar General, not the robotic hello. I had to come on here to do a review. I overheard the phone ring, and a customer was asking if they had an item. She HAPPILY placed the customer on hold, and went to check to see if they had the item. Came back and informed the customer. I was looking for a particular item. She showed me where it should have been, but they were all out of stock. She was genuine and sincere while I was checking out. This is definitely rare these days. I told her to stay the way she is, and that it was appreciated.”

“This is a great addition to the neighborhood. The staff is head and shoulders above other stores in Hammond. They are always helpful and so very cheerful. It's a great way to start your day if you're an early shopper. The more I go there, the more I like it. They have a great selection in all departments. I just wish they had more in the pet treat area.”
“I love this location. Lots of great finds and I can get most of my groceries here, and big ticket items I get next door at F4L. Traditionally this location has nice workers and stocked isles, but there’s usually some disorganization and half stocked items (cardboard boxes in the aisles). They are working to improve, but they still have a bit to go.”
