As someone who is an avid coffee drinker and cafe goer this place was excellent! The only room for improvements as someone who likes working at cafes is having more outlets or having accessible extension cords. In addition to possibly extending hours as for a cafe I feel like it does close pretty early. Overall, wonderful place!

5417 Oakley Ave, HammondWe were in town for a hockey tournament and 18th Street has been on our list to check out. We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door and grabbed a seat at the bar. Great selection of beers along with a full bar. It was just a quick visit for us so we appreciated the well-stocked to go cooler!

Cracker Barrel Old Country Store
7750 Corinne Dr, HammondWe always love the food from Cracker Barrel. This last visit was unfortunately not very good. We had to continuously ask for syrup for the pancakes and then when they brought them, they brought the wrong kind as we needed sugar-free by the time they did get it to us pancakes were a little bit better than lukewarm. The eggs were not cooked the way we had asked. The service was very slow and although all this sounds bad, we will of course be going back because most of the time it’s good service and good food. We were at the Cracker Barrel in Merrillville, Indiana.
