6931 Calumet Ave, HammondJust got this little nugget from Hug-a-Pup in Hammond. Vet check (included) says he’s very healthy! Bought my first pup from this owner 30 some years ago when they were still Let’s Pet in Chicago. He was a great dog. All dogs I’ve owned in between were shelter dogs, but I’m happy to have this full circle moment (not as young as I used to be, so this will likely be the last little buddy) with a place I trust! Store is clean, owner is a peach. 3 cheers for Hug-a-pup!

The groomer handled the knots patiently without pulling too hard or shaving unnecessary areas. She came back looking fluffy and clean, and I could tell she had been treated gently because she stayed calm the entire evening.

5417 Oakley Ave, HammondWe were in town for a hockey tournament and 18th Street has been on our list to check out. We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door and grabbed a seat at the bar. Great selection of beers along with a full bar. It was just a quick visit for us so we appreciated the well-stocked to go cooler!

4294 N 900 W, WolcottAshley is amazing she is very communicative when you are asking about chinchillas and she makes sure they are going to loving homes she also sells supplies which is good if you dont have any supplies or if they will take a while to ship she has a bunch of different chinchillas and gives great reliable information on how to care for them if you are considering buying from her just do it she takes good care of the chinchillas I highly recommend as the chinchillas are very healthy she also starts you off with some food for the chinchillas!
