“I recently went in there had a polite cashier- they always have clearance / sale items outside/ the store is clean- has a lot of variety of things beer - alcohol- candles /- food frozen- a limited amt of vegetables- good amt of frozen foods- they have candles - makeup - hygiene products- shampoos lotion and much more - cards- holiday stuff /- decorations. Parking lot is easy to get to - not to crowded”
“Can no longer get the flavors of soup we like. They are carrying more namebrand, like Campbells, but also triple the price. We like Kelseys, which is SAL brand but cannot find the ones we eat. Employees are very nice and hard workers. The store is often out of alot of things. Its hit or miss when it comes to what you want and what the manager has ordered and what's in stock. Good to go there on Saturday mornings. I think their big delivery is Friday and better stocked on Saturday.
I just wish they'd bring back the discontinued soups, etc.”
“I'm in Demotte usually once or twice a month. I tend to stop in this Dollar General at least once a month.First thing I will say - it is CLEAN and organized. More so than your average Dollar General. Most of the Dollar General stores I've been in tend to be a bit cluttered - I can't blame employees, they are setting up due to a corporate floor plan and there is usually more merchandise than space. Then you gave the shopper traffic added in - things can get messy. This one, seems stay a few steps ahead of that though. Store is organized. Employees and manager have always been pleasant and helpful. They also seem to have cleaning products and other products that I do not see at other Crown Point Dollar General stores in the town where I reside. There also always seems to be employees and/or the manager on the floor which, sadly, at other Dollar General stores is often not the case. In other DG stores I've noticed the employees are becoming more and more dependent on the self checkout kiosk. While I don't mind using the self checkout, that doesn't mean shut down registers and force employees into a self checkout. This DG, is not that way - at all. As I type this, I don't recall that they even have a self checkout - if they do, it isn't used much as there is always someone at the register including the manager. When the Turners created Dollar General stores - Customer Service was a top priority. This Dollar General carries on that priority.”
“I was Christmas shopping today. I was everywhere. I went to this store to get pop and grabbed 2 Christmas ornaments. Then I went grocery shopping. By the time I unloaded and unpacked everything I realized I forgot 2 tiny things.I saw my receipt and called Dollar General and the lady said bring you're receipt and I'll replace it. She did. I should've got her name. The 2 $1.00 ornaments were for my 2 dogs that passed away. They were perfect. So I just had to come home and give her a thumbs up!”
“Overall I like this dollar tree. Lots of stuff usually always in stock. Pretty clean and organized. Only thing is sometimes you are waiting to check out for awhile.”
“Great the employees were awesome. The refrigerator had froze the milk in the fridge so my fiancé asked if they had any in the back and they sure did in the fridge back there. Thank goodness because we were both tired from a long day. And it made it even better with the kind attitude of the employees. We were both very satisfied. ?”
“This store is clean, organized and stocked very well. The employees are the sweetest. I will absolutely be coming back to this dollar tree, so many goodies you can't find elsewhere!”
