I have been waiting on the phone now for 30 min. Listening to elevator music. These clowns drop off new remotes and boxes to my parents apartment in assisted living. They quite clearly did not verify functioning correctly...... unbelievable. My parents have to sit in a room all day with no functioning remote?. You people are clowns

We pay over 60 dollars a month on DSL for 5 gb internet, there is usually 4 devices on the internet and we dont even average 1 megabyte. We have to reset the router 5+ times every other day. We will be switching to Xfinity next time we can.

The quote they gave me was about $70 higher a month than what their website advertises. Lady was rude on the phone and avoided my questions. I did not proceed service as I felt this will be one those places that is just going to play games and give run around if ever have an issue with their service.

We got NITCO about 3 years ago when we moved to Lake Village because they were literally the only option that wasn't data capped satellite. Ever since then, our experience has been nothing but profoundly negative in every possible way.For starters, they charge us $80/month for 15mbps DSL service. So, with such a high cost for such a mind numbingly slow connection speed, the customer service must be top tier and the reliability must be bullet proof. Right? Nope.Ever since day 1 we have had constant near daily issues with connection slowing down to 500kbps and slower, as well as dropping out entirely countless times a night for several minutes at a time. For the last 3 years we have called and complained about this, and for the last 3 years, we have been completely ignored and left to rot, paying ridiculous prices for less than bare minimum, bottom of the barrel service. The kicker is this; we had one of their technicians in our home tell us to our faces that the issue is that they don't have enough DSL cable running out here to feed all the customers they're trying to cram onto their infrastructure. So, we are essentially fighting each other for internet access because NITCO didn't bring enough equipment for all of us. We were told this in year 1.Since we found out about this problem, I have mentioned it in every single phone call I have ever made to NITCO in the last 3 years, and somehow, even with the government handing out free grant money to ISPs for the express purpose of expanding high speed internet to rural areas, NITCO has found a way to fumble the ball constantly for 3 years straight, doing absolutely nothing to fix their fundamentally flawed service, yet continue to charge a premium cost. Then, the worst part about it, they proceed to boast and brag about how much people LOVE their service on Facebook. They boast about how they love to spend time with their beloved customers at special events and gatherings, all while they are actively turning a blind eye to how badly they're completely and utterly failing the entire 46349 zipcode. Absolutely disgusting. The moment Surf Internet finishes burying their fiber optic cables in this area, we will be leaving NITCO behind and they will never see another penny from any of our family ever again.

While I have zero knowledge about how this business performs, I do have knowledge as to how their employees choose to drive. This Nitco driver felt the need to cut me off on I65 causing me to slam on my brakes and almost cause a wreck. He must not realize that he drives a mobile billboard and it reflects very poorly on Nitco that they would allow their employees to operate company vehicles in such a dangerous manner. At least he smiled for the camera. I would give zero stars if possible.

Updating post from 6 years ago: “It’s rough”I was salty at the time paying 120 for 25mb. No longer an issue, another route became available and I pay significantly less with a mobile carrier.

I just spoke to a Paula at nitco she was very perfessional and told me that we need to upgrade my systems at my home, but I was kinda of like why is that and why should I pay more and that was not in the agreement and so on , I just want to say this woman handled the situation very good and she should be a trainer at this company or have her salary increased nitco needs more employees like her. She was very pleasant ans handled it before I escalated it.

I just viewed some of the complaints. First I do not have nitco service but please understand they are human beings not robots.I am sure they are doing the best they can to keep things running smoothly. The service I use also has issues but I do understand they have other customers also. I am also very happy that Nitco is expanding Hang in there folks

Been customers for over forty years, they install fiber in Morocco but not in my area. Can't even get 7 meg, maybe they have to expand their area because they don't take care of their existing customers.

Service is severely over priced for the quality of the product. Land line is practically useless since calling anyone outside of Porter County is considerer a long distance call but is mandatory to utilize internet services. Internet rarely reaches half the max speed of what is promised. Internet fails every few months regardless of weather conditions and requires a call into customer service to miraculously fix the issue. Wait times for customer service often exceed 20min regardless of the time of day.On a positive note, IT personnel have always been friendly, helpful, and consistently follow-up to make sure that issues are resolved.
