The building itself is remarkable, and the rooms are filled with character and charm. Many guests enjoyed the mini kitchen, sitting room, and jet tub, though some found the mattresses uncomfortable. While the hotel lacks certain typical amenities, it offers fun features like a duckpin bowling alley and a bar. The staff is noted for being helpful and informative. However, visitors should be aware that the elevator may not always be operational, which can be challenging for those with physical disabilities, as manual operation requires climbing stairs. The hotel is situated in an area known for its lively nightlife, so light sleepers should consider bringing earplugs or a sound machine due to potential noise from the bowling alley and street conversations. Despite some drawbacks, many guests expressed a strong desire to return, highlighting their overall enjoyable experiences at Fountainview Inn.
The staff were very helpful and informative and it was right next to my concert venue as well as some great restaurants, so super convenient placement. Would definitely stay here again.

Hands down where you want to stay in Historical Fountain Square. Building is amazing with room that are even better. If you want a wonderful place near everything in Fountain Square look no further. 5 stars all day!!!!

Friday night swing dancing is great. The instructors were great, and the live music was terrific.
