I don't feel safe with the new building. Teller stations are very exposed so others are able to see (and hear) your transactions and withdrawals.

This has been the worst experience trying to get a credit card with this credit union. I went with this credit union because honestly they have the best APR rates. What they lack in is customer service. I applied for a credit card October 18th, 2023. The man who filled out the application for me was named Jonathan. He told me that it would take 3-5 business days to hear back if I was approved or not. I waited 5 days before I went back up to the branch to figure out what was going on and why I haven’t heard anything. The lady gave me a number to call and when I called that number they had no information of mine on record. Some time passes and they figured out that Jonathan had not sent my application in as he did not put my social security number down. They get that figured out and call me back and tell me what amount I was approved for on a credit card, I was also told I needed to come back to open up a savings account before they could give me a credit card. No big deal. I show back up, I wait in line just for this lady to tell me she can’t help me open up a savings account because they close in 20 minutes and it takes longer than 20 minutes to open up a savings and basically to come back on Monday. I didn’t argue, but that is ridiculous that you guys messed up to begin with and now are telling me that I have to wait longer because your workers don’t want to stay an extra 10 minutes. So I come back Monday October 30th in the morning to get the account opened. I was told it would take 7-10 business days for the credit card to come. Tomorrow is day 10 and still nothing. I have payments that need to be put on that card, which is the whole reason I went early to open the account (oct 18th). If that guy had not messed up to begin with, I’m sure I would have my card. If the lady would have helped me open up the savings account, I’m sure the card would be here. It’s ridiculous that I came in on October 18th to open a credit card account and it’s now November 9th and I still have nothing. The employees have terrible attitudes and I honestly just want to close my account and bank with a different credit union. For my first credit card, this has been a horrible experience and has really set me back financially. I do not recommend banking with this particular branch. I’m sure other branches are more thorough and diligent when it comes to their customers but this one is not. I never leave reviews but this has really left a sour taste in my mouth

This particular branch has a bunch of unprofessional staff, I went there to open HEL account the staff that attended to me was so rude and his behavior was like I went there to beg for money. I suggest that all the staff here need to be retrain.

Line are absolutely absurd every single time you visit and they move at a rate of 6 minutes per client (while I was there). Which is ridiculously excessive. Better to drive to a further IMCU because this one is a slag. Stay away from Avon IMCU too for a bit cause they're undergoing construction & official business can be conducted on their grounds. Really unfortunate visit.

Was given a fake $100 bill and they would not resolve the issue as i already left the building. PLEASE COUNT AND VERIFY ALL BILLS ARE LEGIT BEFORE EXITING THE BUILDING OR YOU WILL BE OUT OF MONEY LIKE ME. You can see from the photos it passes the marker test but “their bill counter didnt catch it” so now im out of money. Luckily my wife nor myself did not go to spend this otherwise we would be in jail!

Nothing but good things to say!! I applied for a loan without having an account yet and got quickly approved with AMAZING terms and a very low payment! Customers are more than just a number here, unlike most banks/credit unions. If your credit is rough, they work with you! I really wish I could remember the name of the woman I worked with! She’s in the first office on the left. My credit isn’t great, and I told her how I was working to fix it and do better, and she took a chance on me! I’m switching from Fifth Third and doing ALL of my business with IMCU from here on out.

Im really considering closing this account with this credit union. Jonathan was slightly helpful with kindness but Nicole blindly rolled her eyes and said she was uncomfortable with the amount I had to deposit from a fundraiser because of the amount that was on the check. She was extremely rood and basically dismissed me only to have her colleague tell me my funds wouldn't be available until the end of next week. Terrible service from this location. But she managed to tell the young man she helped beside me to have a great day.
