Legacy House Victim Services, located in the lower level of the Eskenazi Health Center North Arlington, provides trauma-informed care to adults and children affected by various violent crimes, including child abuse, domestic violence, sexual assault, robbery, and stalking. All services are offered at no cost to patients. The atmosphere at Legacy House is warm and inviting, with soft white lighting that creates a comfortable environment. Employees are known for their kindness and soft-spoken demeanor, making clients feel at ease. Upon arrival, patients are greeted warmly and quickly taken to their appointment, minimizing any discomfort. The therapy rooms are designed for comfort, featuring couches, dry erase boards, and yoga mats. Patients have expressed their appreciation for their therapists, noting the strong support and understanding they receive. Many have found a genuine connection with their therapists, feeling safe to share their deepest traumas without fear of judgment. The program has made a significant impact, helping hundreds of individuals each year.
