“This company is by far amazing! I’m unable to make it to Speedway this year for the Indy 500 and would be missing out on the pop up store. I reached out to them on social media and asked if I could do a virtual shopping type of a thing and they said absolutely! It was a wonderful experience and all of my pieces are perfect! Shout out to Turae who called me and got me all taken care of.If you’re looking for one of a kind items for the IndyCar fan in your life this is the place to check out!Thank you so much for a great experience and perfect items!”

“Now located at the old Fountain Square branch of the Indianapolis Public Library, right at the Fountain intersection. There are both used and new books inside. Adult, YA and children's books. They have a cute corner in the front with a HUGE chair for children's books. They also have a discount section for $1-$2 paperback novels. AND best of all, they have a "Pay what you can" section. It literally says, pay anything over $0.00! They do not buy used books but will take donations. They also have a reading program for children and youth.”

“This is an excellent facility. I came here to purchase some items from the Girl Scout store and ended up taking a tour. The facility is updated and very clean. In addition to the store, which carries all your girl scout needs, they have meeting rooms, a game room, administrative offices and a lounge. They also have a very nice patio area out front and a decent sized parking lot.The store has all your Girl Scout needs from official uniform clothing, to badges, to patches, and some toys.I was greeted immediately when I came in. I told them what I was looking for and the woman working got all the pieces of the uniform together for me. They made it very easy. They all were very helpful and knowledgeable about the program. I really like this facility and hope that my daughter's troop will be able to incorporate this place into their program and maybe even go camping or earn some badges here. This place is well planned out and put together. Every scout should have the opportunity to go there at some point.”

“This greenspace is located behind Cleo's Bodega Grocery and Café and in front of the Flanner House. This space was awarded by IPL as part of their Project GreenSpace program in 2018, in partnership with Keep Indianapolis Beautiful, Groundwork Indy and the Center of Wellness for Urban Women. Previously it was a vacant lot, that was transformed into the greenspace you see today. It has some information placards, some stone seating, and rectangular shaped garden space. There is also rock paved walkways and a garden pergola. Unfortunately, I visited during the cold months, so there were not plants or blooms. The greenspace was dead. I hope to return in the spring and see this place come to life. The space is intended to be a place where local residents can pick fruit, care for fruit trees, learn about nutrition, and participate in activities such as yoga and community parties. The greenspace has a huge parking lot that belongs to the Flanner House right behind it, so parking is not an issue. I recommend checking this place out during plant season. In addition to being a garden, it is somewhat a peaceful and soothing spot to just sit and chill. Even though it is located right off of a busy street.”

“My wife and our kids have been able to workout and swim together. We’ve met new lifelong friends and connected with old ones. Our athlete was able to connect with a trainer. And it has that strong undercurrent of being a charitable organization. So many checks off my list of important things.”

“Such a wonderful homage to one of America's greatest authors! The love for Kurt is so apparent here.A wonderful collection of memories from the author, his personal effects, articles, letters, and books all sitting quietly in an amazingly decorated library gives one the sense of walking through Mr. Vonnegut's past. His sense of humor is well on display, as well as the horrors he endured as a soldier.A MUST for Kurt Vonnegut fans, or those who want to experience a truly unique museum. The staff here are fans in their blood, and truly pleasant and knowledgeable people.Kurt's adoration for Indiana, and his Hoosier pride are paid back to him a thousand-fold with this beautiful and humble little venue.Highly recommended stop while visiting Indy.”

“Today we stopped into the Philippine Cultural Community Center for the street food "Food on a Stick" festival and it was absolutely delightful! More than just a food festival, there were crafts and art and plenty to see and experience. The food (not *all* on a stick) was very tasty and everyone was super friendly. Big standouts today were the pork belly, the dumplings and egg rolls, and the pork and chicken on sticks. But the big standout was the ube. Ube puyo, ube taho, ube desserts of all kinds. It was all so delicious and everyone was so kind and welcoming and told us about how the foods are sold in the Philippines. We were so happy to learn that they're there every weekend with delicious food. Honestly, if you haven't been here, if you haven't tried the food or learned something about this beautiful culture, please stop in and enrich your life. You'll be so glad that you did!!”

“I am so thankful for the professional network of women at Dress for Sucess, the Strengthsfinder workshop, mentorship, and events make joining the professional network so worth it. Also as a mom whose husband travels a lot it’s so great to have the Tuesday night meetings with a zoom option to still feel like I am doing professional development. The staff really really cares about women and go above and beyond and the women in the networking group have given me some really good encouragement as I navigate the next phase of my career”

“Today was my first in person meeting since Covid happened. I am new to the area and not a big AA person myself. Although I just went though the training to be an addiction peer support specialist. So I went outside of my comfort zone and did something different with a lady I met in class and it was quite lovely. I went to the women’s meeting and they were very welcoming and even gave me my 6 year coin on the first day they met me. I hope to go again in the future if my schedule will allow it!Thank you to the ladies who were there today!”
