Save A Lot is a discount grocery store offering low prices on fresh fruit, veggies, quality meats, and carefully selected grocery items, making budget shopping and family meal planning possible. It is considered a good store for families, preventing a food desert with its fresh produce, decent selection of major food groups, and a fair variety of household, health, beauty, and cosmetics items. Some customers recommend it to anyone in the area. However, the store receives significant criticism. Many note that shelves are not well stocked, with sale items often depleted. The store is described as in dire need of renovation and upgrades, with outdated everything and questionable temperatures on cold items. A major complaint is that prices are frequently much higher than competitors, leading customers to question the store's name and who is truly saving money. Staff are frequently described as rude, sloth-like, and noncommunicative. Additional operational issues include shopping carts left scattered after hours, sometimes far from the store, and concerns about food waste management. While some find it acceptable for quick trips when in a hurry or with no other choice, the overall experience is mixed due to these persistent problems with stock, prices, maintenance, and service.
My favorite store, however in my specific location there are no grocery stores rather close so a drive is a must. However, there have been changes. Is this still Save A Lot? Discovered this is VALUE FOODS MART. Prices seem higher, more name brands.

Considering the local dynamic and the geographic conditions this is a good store for families small and large. No food desert here. Fresh produce, a decent selection of the major food groups, a fair variety of household items, health, beauty and cosmetics. I'd recommend it to anyone living in or visiting the area.
