She listened to what I needed and offered several suggestions. A few hours after I made the purchase I had to change the order. We were able to modify the order over the phone … she was very understanding and took her time to make sure the the revisions to the order were correct.”

“This is my first ever review of a store. I am submitting this review because Story has been fabulous to work with. He met my husband and I in the store and helped us plan an entire bath remodel. He designed a custom vanity for us and gave me prices for everything that I requested (sink, shower, custom glass, tile, closet doors, fixtures, and much more). I have emailed him countless times and he has always responded very quickly and answered all of my questions. He has been SO HELPFUL, professional, and has given us outstanding customer service, which is rare these days. (It is difficult to find help in other home improvement stores). This beautiful local shop is a vintage lover’s dream with retro clothing, unique thrift finds, handmade jewelry and the cutest trinkets you didn’t even know you needed to have in your life!!!!! it’s impossible to walk out empty-handed. The vibe is so warm and cute, and everything is with such a creative and nostalgic touch.”
“My husband and I visited Louisville for our anniversary and came across Unorthodox while looking for unique places to check out — and we’re so glad we did! This ended up being one of our absolute favorite stops of the trip.
The shop is full of fascinating and unusual treasures — there’s so much to explore! We left with several incredible pieces for our collection, including snake bones, a skunk skull, some amazing books, art, and jewelry. Our two boys came along and were just as thrilled — they picked out some bug displays, and our youngest hasn’t stopped showing off his red fox tail since we left.

Matt called me shortly after (I hadn’t even left a message!) and facilitated my order by phone. Very nice, very helpful. I asked him to delay shipping for a few days until I returned from a trip, which he did. Shipment arrived exactly as we planned and was beautifully packaged. The items I was going to use as gifts felt like a gift for me! Great dealing with this company, and it’s only an hour and a half away in Louisville!”
“I recently broke my back and purchase a sleep number bed due to ability to change firmness and warming at base of bed. I have found the zero G setting is the best for my back. My only issue is headboard is being delivered a month after mattress was. This is reason for 4 stars.”

“This is a huge building and will take you a while to get through, and even then, you will feel like you missed something. I went back several days in a row and found something new every time. From antique furniture to modern art, they have everything and you will not be disappointed.”
“I bought a bed still waiting for delivery 4 to 5 weeks for delivery, paid 250 to deliver and they wanted another 100 to take the old mattress, I feel removal of the old one needed to be included in the delivery charge. And the wait is a little long . Waiting to see when I get to sleep on it for the first time.”
