112 J St, La PorteI have some pretty out-there style aspirations for my poodle, Gucci, and the team at Golden Clipper has been absolutely fabulous with him throughout every single visit. Today, Golden Clipper continued working toward the look I envision for him, gently covering one eye a bit for a more dramatic, high-fashion editorial look. They completely understand this vision and have been wonderful about shaping and maintaining his top knot as it grows out.
They are also able to provide official color artistry, which I absolutely love. I cannot wait to eventually incorporate an official Gucci ribbon or emblem detail into his overall look to really set the design off.
Every time Gucci gets home from Golden Clipper, he immediately starts posing around the house like he just stepped out of a high-fashion editorial campaign. He had an attitude today and it shows in the photo, biting his metal and all,- that’s a new one. Mr tough guy. Gucci is definitely not a show dog in the traditional sense. However, he absolutely will strike a pose at any moment. All you have to say is, “Gucci, let me take a photo,” and his “trick” is pausing and Posing. He knows when he looks good.
His grooming always looks polished, balanced, expressive, and absolutely intentional. This is exactly the way we love our poodle to look!
I am incredibly grateful to all the ladies at Golden Clipper for consistently delivering proportionate, high-end editorial looks that work beautifully with his coat texture and personality to create true statement-piece haircuts.

2303 W State Rd 2 West, La PorteThey were all so great from the phone call to the nurses and the dr. I had to unfortunately put my dog down and it was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do. They made it such a smooth process and were so caring through it all. It’s a hard decision to make but knowing he was always gonna suffer I knew it was better for my Oscar boy to be put down than be in pain every day. I will never take any animals anywhere else but here. The dr was honest and caring and reassured me the whole time that I did what I could and made the right moves. So thankful for them they even sent a very nice card with personal messages from everyone there. 10/10 would recommend you take your babies here I’ll never use anyone else but them !!
