1201 Ripley Street, Lake Station IN 46405
“Their bathrooms are clean. They have a wide variety of stuff. Okay amount of parking. There is the reserved for employees section And the reserved for people who want to stay longer and pay 5 bucks. So the actual space for people just sleeping the night isn't as big as they say. This is right off the highway.”

“I highly recommend the Southend Body Shop. I recently had a small fender bender in a parking lot; nothing huge but still a noticeable dent I wanted fixed. The owner, Joe, reviewed the damage and said it was not a difficult job. We scheduled a time to bring the car in. I brought it in on a Monday and, as promised, he had it ready by Thursday. I could not be happier with the service and the quality of work. I tried a couple of other shops before going to Southend Body, and the service representatives (not the owner or the person doing the work) all said both doors needed to be replaced as well as the front bumper, and they wanted to charge me five times what Joe charged. It was only a small dent, the kind high school students back in the day fixed in a basic auto repair class. Nice work.”

“My Charger was rear-ended and damaged the rear plastic bumper cover. I got a couple estimates, D&M was the lowest. Mario did an estimate and said it would be no problem fixing it. When I went to pick up my car the bumper looked amazing, looked like a brand new bumper cover. Great job to everyone at D&M! Everyone at D&M was very helpful and friendly. Thanks a lot, Mark”

“Over a decade of amazing service! I've been bringing vehicles to Brian Gill at this shop for well over a decade! He and his staff are top notch! They are completely honest, fair, extremely good at diagnosis and repair of vehicles across a broad spectrum of different makes and models. My family and I are always well pleased with work done here. The turn around times on services performed are amazing as well. Don't be discouraged if you call Brian and don't get him right away or a call back right away. They are very busy and he remains actively involved with repairs. Just be patient and relax in the comfort of knowing when you get your vehicle in . It will be fixed and fixed right the first time. With integrity and precision. I'm very meticulous and I only want the best working on my vehicles. Having said that, look no further! You just found the mechanic you've always been searching and hoping for!!”

“In June of 2025 my wife and I bought a 2011 jeep wrangler. It has 152000 miles. However,it has well maintained and everything on it works. Even though mike was leaving on vacation. He still made arrangements to pick it up. I would tell anyone wanting to buy a used car. Drive it first. Or better yet have a mechanic check it over. We certainly seen and drove jeeps 5hat were alot worse than this one. And the price was spot on. Thank you Mike x. It was a pleasure doing business with you. I would recommend this car lot to family and friends. As always. Be careful about how you spend your money.”

“Mario, Gary, and Nikki were caring, attentive, and kept up with my concerns on the vehicle. They kept me informed. They accommodated my situation with me living out of town and the unexpected damages done to my vehicle through an already stressful situation. They even showed up through the storms in the area during that time and worked hard to come through for all of their customers. My vehicle runs and looks great. The mechanics did an amazing job. They will take care of you here.”
