“This was a good hotel for the price. The hotel is right in the middle of downtown so you can walk everywhere and it's near by to alot of attractions (including Cincinnati). The rooms were clean but they could use some updates. (Not a deal breaker) It was well worth the price and will definitely use again.

Rooms: Rooms were clean and the beds were firm. The amenities in the room were dated and there was no fridge/microwave but not a deal breaker.

Walkability: The hotel is next to an amazing walking area. The levy next to the hotel is bike/walk/run space and runs the entire length of the river. There are also tons of walking/biking in the adjacent downtown so you don't even need a vehicle”

“We've stayed at the Empire House multiple times. The first time was just kind of a stumble upon weekend away and we loved it. We had a small room with a nice view, the old building is awesome, and there is a war memorial that can be seen from the porch. This will be our 4th year returning to stay in one of the hotels suites for our sons birthday.The town is cute and quiet, with some historian historical buildings that are neat to see. The owner is very nice and accomodating, even giving us a few tips on things happening in town.Will definitely keep being return customers.”

“We usually use campground, but wasn't sure it was open so stayed in hotel for 3 nights. Top complains was no clock, desk said as they stop working they didn't replace them. I mean they were putting up giant TV in pavalon but couldn't replace a 10 dollar clock. Also they stopped free breakfast, why? Campers would always go over and get breakfast and we did also. No breakfast. So sad. Room was OK..”
