The prior authorization policy is insane. They wait until the day the medication is to be filled then require the P.A. Hilariously it is always on a Friday, so the doctor won't receive the P.A. until monday then send it back. The maybe tuesday I can get my medication. They won't even let me pay cash for it. 4 days without meds and almost an emergency room visit. Their corporate doesn't care, I have called twice and said I would receive a call back and never have. Just do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Store hours and online posting said they would close at 6. I was in the drive through line at 4:30 with 3 cars I front of me. Got to the window at 5:01 and there was a sign that it closed at 5. Went inside and pharmacist said tough luck. I said it’s filled he said well I’ve had them close the register. I was there yesterday and they were closed to internet.. Talked to a worker upfront and they said that complaining won’t help because the pharmacist can do whatever they want and can close whenever. Guess the only thing I can do is never spend another dollar with CVS again.

UPDATE: This last script they didn't even give me the correct amount. My doctor called it into a compounding pharmacy out of town because I am tired of talking to these people over a simple prescription. We will not be using this cvs anymore.Every time I try to get a script filled here there is drama. Every time I have to have a doctor call it in twice. This most recent time they didn't receive the first fax so i called and had my doc send it again. Then I get a text saying they can't fill the script because they already have a script for it. So they didn't get the first fax but they mysteriously have two prescriptions for the same thing. It wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. This is exactly why I get my scripts filled out of town and mailed to me. It sucks that getting an emergency script is so hard.

I went there at 9 to pickup a prescription I’m out of and decided to come back since their hours had changed 10-7 I came back at 5 and pharmacy had closed early for the holiday. They had posted no signs indicating they were closing early for the holiday. I had to call off work because my blood pressure was so elevated. Done with this pharmacy.

Really rude customer service. Most people coming to get prescriptions filled are already in discomfort. I will drive 30 minutes the opposite direction for now on.

Absolutely fed up with this pharmacy.There's hardly ever a pharmacist there anymore, and when there is, it's a younger gentleman with glasses who has a serious attitude problem and makes it very clear he doesn't care about the people who use this pharmacy. This is the 3rd time I've had to go without my medicine because of all these issues. DO NOT recommend using CVS Madison.

They refuse to answer their phones I have had issues for about six months calling I have a medicine that does t have refills and that has to be requested weekly for a fill so I have to call to get it ready because it takes a few hours but no one will answer I actually called while at cvs and waited and I watched her pick it up and hang up and pretend I hung up on them but I didn’t this is what they do every time do not plan to call you’ll wait on hold for 30 plus min and be hung up on I will be reporting this behavior because theirs no excuse for it I understand they get busy but answer the phone!!! It’s just as if a person is standing there ! I’m a customer to so take each in order drive thru , phone inside store and continue then everyone gets helpedUpdate cvs is now answering phones again!! It takes a few minutes but they do eventually get to you
