“This bank location just got a new metal roof which are not cheap. The main building in downtown Martinsville was remodeled. Home Bank opened a Greenwood location recently. This indicates a very healthy bank to me. I opened a third account this week. A new checking account in addition to the Money Market account I have and an IRA type Certificate of Deposit (CD). Because the lobby is closed currently and only available by appointment, I called for an appointment. To my surprise, they were able to open the account over the phone. The signature card and debit card were waiting for me in the drive-thru lane. And I received a free gift for opening the new account. An 89 piece household tool set in a carrying case. I also applied for and was approved for a credit card online. It was much more simpler than the last time I applied.”
