I purchased a replacement alternator for my '97 F150 w/140,000+ miles on it.
Over two years later it failed. True to his word Phil replaced the alternator at no cost, including labor, and thanked me for my business.
I don't think that would have happened at a dealership.
You might find someone cheaper, but good luck, later on down the road, when something goes wrong.
