“Offerings are typical of a Dollar Tree, location is generally kept clean. Some aisles stay messier than others and have stock sitting around for a bit, as is to be expected from a company well known to be staffed at the bare minimum everywhere. But the employees at this location are friendly and capable.”

“Store can definitely use double the amount of employees then it currently has, just like the 5+ other DGs that are within 10min drive from this one… it’s nice that it’s new, but would be better if they could actually put products on the shelf’s instead literally everywhere else but the shelf itself(also like all the other lcl DGs). But whenever I need help, it’s available, sometimes it’s even offered w/o me having to go on a safari looking for help(like one has to at a WalMart or Lowes..).. so it’s 5-Stars bc of the age and the obvious external factors causing majority of the issues… but you can only shift the blame for so long before this review goes quickly in the other direction”
“I'm so excited that we have a dollar store in markleville now. The only complaint I would have is that everything is 75 cents to a $1 more at this dollar store then it is at all of the other ones”
“The store manager here is incredibly good at his job! I took notice to the way he greeted all customers that came through the door, made pleasant conversation with the lady before me in line and also in those throughout the store of different deals, etc. Up sold in a way that was not pushy or annoying! As a business owner myself I had to get on here and praise him! He noticed what I was looking let me know where another selection of similar items were at throughout the store without me asking, and I ended up getting other things from the area that he suggested that I would’ve not done had he not! I didn’t catch his name, but I did catch an over hearing that he will be going to the 38th St. in Columbus store! So whoever that man is given him a race because he was pleasant, was happy to be there and did great at his job! Finding employees like this is rare. Take care of him!”
“Love this location! I'll drive all the way from Alexandria to come here. Barbie is the best at keeping well kept with the store and her team is so friendly and nice and always quick to help me out when I come in the store. They always honor their deals and prices when things don't ring up correctly. The store is overall more clean than the others in town and always have full shelves and less things piled up in the isles. And the restroom was even comfortable to use as well and very clean. Keep it up Broadway dollar general y'all know how to rock! Thank you.”
“The managers Kayla & Shelly go above and beyond to keep this store clean and well stocked . My family shops here faithfully about 3 times a week . If it wasn’t for them and their extraordinary customer service we would probably shop elsewhere. Thank you ladies keep up the amazing work ! “This location has been under new management (me) since the beginning of October 2023. I just want to share some updates for those who have given lower level reviews.The parking lot was completely torn up and repaved in November. NO MORE CRATERS!The store itself: still a few items on the floor that get stocked throughout the shift by cashiers, such as the health and beauty areas, BUT, I was able to get a TON of out of stock items back in the store and back on the shelves.We have a whole new team in the store and have gotten nothing less than amazing reviews from our valued customers!We aren’t where we want to be, but for those who have ditched this location due to bad experiences in the past, come back and check out the improvements we have made SO FAR!! Plenty more to come!”

“The staff at the dollar general are very kind and one of the staff members there was so sweet a man that I saw in the store was having a slight breakdown he was having a ptsd attack and the staff member had known and she slowly came from around the counter was able to talk him down and he left with a smile that was teuly amazing to see people and staff care that much they truly are the epitome of above and beyond”
