“The friendly ladies and sometimes gentlemen at the front desk are a delight to work with, and they are a reflection of all the hard-working folks at this post office. In my experience, everyone at this post office works hard to do what can be done to make sure mail is handled with care and in a timely manner.”

“I tried to call the local office, but only reach the main 800 line. I wanted to speak to a supervisor to say THANK YOU because our mail carrier is so kind. He's always here around the same time every day and my kids LOVE saying hello. If my kids hear him, they run to the door. He left a Christmas card in our mailbox. We made him some cookies and he wrote a thank you note. He's just such a kind person and we are grateful he is our mail carrier.”

“This place is the best Brittany Freeland is awesome! I have been going to this post office for quite some time in the last few weeks I was going in there to deliver things and there was two other females in there they was not all that friendly they actually didn’t know how to help pack things and they was telling everybody about their issues nobody wants to hear all that! On the other hand Britney she is one happy person she is always friendly and always has a smile on her face no matter what she definitely knows how to pack things and how to get the best price for We are shipping needs!! I wouldn’t go anywhere else unless it was the Camby post office when Britney Freeland was there!”

“I've never had a problem in the last 26 years I've been coming to my local post office Always friendly and helpful. HOWEVER..... there's been numerous times I've seen people chew the postal workers out for something the customer themselves have done wrong. They've ALWAYS handed it with professionalism.”

“Do not be fooled by this very small branch outlet. They can provide all the postal services the big boys can. The only drawback here is that the customer service window is only open a half day that being in the mornings. But there is never a line waiting for service. At most there might be one person ahead of you. They have PO Boxes for rent here. The lobby is open 24/7 for access to the boxes and outgoing mail slots. The Martinsville Post Office rents boxes too but the access is limited to daylight hours.A do-it-yourself postal kiosk would be helpful here. You can buy stamps from them plus weigh packages and get labels with the correct postage amount. But I have seen how high maintenance those machines are so maybe it was an experiment that never panned out.”

“I have shipped boxes from this location and have been told the least expensive ways to do it, even to the point of unpacking and repacking boxes in the lobby. I am an older person and staff has always been super helpful and patient with me and saved me money, which I needed.”

“I don't know why this post office has such a low rating. I've honestly received some of the best service and most friendly smiles from the staff on the counter. I used to sell on ebay quite a bit and found their self checkout kiosk to be extremely convenient, as its available in the lobby after hours and is stocked with boxes. During the holidays, they have the hours, including passport photos posted on the doors. While I was there shipping presents to family, there were plenty of supplies on hand to assist in preparing packages. All options were clearly outlined, and my priority postage chosen got my gifts to Oregon and Arkansas on Christmas eve. Their post office boxes are available in multiple sizes and the lobby is well lit. The drive up mailboxes are clearly marked with pick up times so you can drop your outgoing mail without getting out of your car. Maybe its the fact that my step dad was a mail carrier, but these folks keep on pushing despite the decline in snail mail popularity. As the song goes, 'No matter if its rain or snow, the mail must go through'! We need to appreciate the service that's provided and often taken for granted.”
