Never seen such a bunch of lazy relationship bankers. They would not respond to voicemails/call requests. I understand this is a credit union but people like these force people to use big banks.

Charge you for statements. Charge you for an inquiry. Checking account opened wasn't offered checks. You call the bank and always put on hold for over half an hour Do I want them to call me back? No can't trust them to do that when some people can't even answer simple questions, Charged my account 10.00 for a fax verification and didn't even include my name in the fax.

I want my old Ball State Federal Credit Union back! Online banking is less convenient than it used to be & I can't get anything done by phone after the long waits on hold. The changes due to the merger which I did not vote for do not benefit me at all. For now, I'll stay around, but I may be shopping for a new bank soon.

Called to ask if they provide notary services. They do but only to account holders. We are moving back to the area, previously had an account with them, but will go elsewhere with the poor service. Would have been smart for them to ask if I wanted to open up an account.

I had a great experience with this credit union. I only switched because I moved 750 miles away. I had no issues whatsoever and everyone was always very friendly and helpful.

Since the BSFCU has been sold to Financial Credit we get correspondence that is incorrect and provides no phone number or email address to allow us to communicate. You can submit questions on the website, but no one ever answers. Phone recording lists numbers for many branches, but not ours. The branch manager's calls only go to voicemail because she is "at lunch". I'm closing my account ASAP!

I've been a member for 20+ years. They have started stealing from me. They changed my checking to a charged account. They also charged me 5$ a month for not having a current address, even though I get junk mail from them bi-weekly.Finally, they signed me up for their scam insurance (Trustage) and have been deducting 30$ a month from my account without ever notifying me or sending me a bill.They stole hundreds from me. And their customer service and web interface is sub par.Follow up - Customer service did not help. I filed a fraud claim and they still let that same company take money out of my account without permission. They still charge me for monthly checking when they said that they were going to change my account to free checking.

Online payment from another financial institution continues to be burdensome. You get sent to another source to pay and then yet again another. I feel extremely uncomfortable passing my information through any other source but the bank that loaned me the money in the first place. Everyone wants to charge you extra for handling your payment. Then they say it is a convenience fee. Convenient for who?

They did a hard credit check knocking my really good credit down 15 points JUST for opening a checking/savings account, which I did not agree to. I've called 3 different times this week and been told conflicting stories. They don't call back when they say they will, no one can give me a straight answer. I'll definitely be reporting it as fraud to the credit bureau, but I think they should at very least take some accountability.

Used to come off as a local credit union. Now it just seems like every other mega-bank. Press this for that...hold for 10 minutes...get transferred to someone working remotely. Meh. I'm glad my car is almost paid off because it's difficult to get proper customer service since the buy-out.

Happy to be a new patron. Thanks to my new job on BSU Campus and their amazing service with helping me set up Direct Deposit at the last minute. I'm truly a happy satisfied customer especially since no one else could accept me. Thank you Ball State Financial ?

Like many other original Ball State members, I’ve experienced nothing but problems since the merger with Financial Center. If there were ANY improvements, I’ve not enjoyed them. It’s simply been one obstacle after another to just regain the basic services I previously had no problems with. Thanks for bailing Ball State Credit Union out, but I’m not sure how long I’m going to stick around to use these new “services”.

I used to enjoy banking here when it was BSFCU. Since being purchased by Financial Center, I feel like nothing works. It's impossible to get through on the phone. Deposits take forever to show up. Their online banking setup is lousy.

Very disappointed in the services the merge is providing. I believe this has been a great hassle and has left former ball state federal credit union members at a great disservice. I highly do not recommend and I plan on switching banks soon
