“We stumbled upon this candy shop completely by accident. I'm so glad we did! I love the history and they let us watch while they made cinnamon red hots! There is even a little diner in the back that serves hot food, cold food and ice cream!!! The banana split was huge. I also recommend the chocolate shake made the old fashioned way❤️ I can't wait to go back!!!”

“Muth's candy is the very best candy in the world in my opinion! Their chocolate is to die for! You can't go wrong with anything at all that you get because it's all delicious. I love their double dipped chocolate malted milk balls, but my absolute favorite is something you can only get here and nowhere else. They are called Modjeskas and they are the best piece of chocolate heaven. They are marshmallows covered in caramel and dipped in chocolate. The candy recipe was a gift to the Muths from a candy maker who came to America in the 1800's. The story is on their website and a very interesting read. You can't get Modjeskas anywhere else. You MUST try them. They opened in 1921 and my dad started getting candy for Valentines day for us kids since the 1950's and my siblings and I have continued the tradition. They are the very best there is. Try it for yourself, soon!Parking: It is sometimes difficult to find a place to park but it is free to park on the street.”

“I was at U of L this afternoon. I went down to the cafeteria for something to drink. They were set up out in the hallway by the elevators. I bought some vanilla fudge. It was delicious. The ladies were very nice. Next time I am out in that area I definitely will stop by there.”

“I had a big bouquet of balloon flowers delivered with a stuffed teddy bear. The staff was very helpful on the telephone, the delivery service was excellent and the balloon bouquet was excellent. Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience. Highly recommend this business for your next delivery need.”

“They did not have any hard candy which is what I went for. They had old school candy bars except no Fith Avenue. They did have the pear Jelly Belly's....yea! ? I wanted to try a Jelly belly marked as one of their favorite but she said there was no way to get out one so I could sample...whatever! So I rate you a 4 and that is because the chocolate was very good!”

“This small store has tons of chocolates infused with a wide variety of different bourbons. The shop keeper was very polite and helpful. He gave us samples, answered our questions about the different options, and gave us recommendations. Definitely a must-visit if you're in the area and you like chocolate. They have a small section of non-alcoholic sweets as well. We got some Modjeska candies here, which are caramel-covered marshmellow sweets originating there in Louisville KY. It was our first time trying them, and they were fantastic!”

“Didn't get his name, but Cashier 619230 put Maximum Effort into making my custom order. But, Lids should definitely consider improving the equipment their employees deal with; software and hardware both.”

“We met David who was super nice. God’s love shined through his smile. We are from Florida ..this is our first visit to Louisville..and I kept noticing how the people we encountered throughout the city didn’t really smile and were standoff-ish. Not the case with this establishment. The service was outstanding and the sweets were delish. Thanks for the first “welcoming” experience so far in Louisville. May God continue to bless you and your wife of 40 years. Until we meet again❤️”
