The New Albany Sugar Shoppe is a quirky, old-fashioned candy shop located in downtown New Albany, Indiana. It is a bright, festive, and adorable little store filled with sugary imagination and a large selection of all types of candy. The shop is decorated very cute and colorfully, and the inside is very clean and organized. They specialize in chocolate, including truffles and many chocolate-covered items like strawberries and over fifteen different chocolate-dipped Oreos. They offer a bulk candy bar, handmade macarons, caramel apples, salt water taffy, a huge assortment of gummies, and other hand-made chocolate candies. The staff and owner are great, wonderful, amazing, welcoming, professional, fun, and respectful. They know their product and provide excellent hospitality, making each visit a fun experience. The shop has a policy that teen groups must be accompanied by an adult chaperone, with special exceptions available by calling. Customers find it a great place to visit for a sweet treat and look forward to returning often.
Staff is very sweet and friendly. Candy there is amazing!! I got macaroons there and probably the best I've had compared to chain restaurants and expensive desserts. Definitely sweet so I eat like 3 a day. Macaroons are a must when going to the store. Very small and aesthetic

Cool little shop! Be careful you can easily miss it, but it worth the stop. If you like banana you've got to try the I Love Elvis
